These 10 karat gold chains are not much over spot price

https://www.ebay.com/itm/253693311796?var=552946765550

Good deal because they are selling them for almost melt value, but you usually have to pay a markup for jewelry (due to the cost of turning the gold into jewelry of course)

1.4 grams

Nowhere do I see the weight of this chain.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

What supposedly makes high karat gold so good is that it doesn't tarnish over time and supposedly looks good forever.

Things like silver lose shine over time.

I asked a chain seller if they are pretty durable, he said he's never gotten one back or heard any complaints. It wouldn't be worth repairing though, he said cost of repair wouldn't make sense. It would make more sense to add it to a scrap/melt pile and just buy a new one. It will still retain it's gold value

10k is only 40% gold content. That will make it durable vs. a 24k for example, but not something I would buy besides for a daily wear piece that won't break.

Das it boyo. You're fully in the gold club now lol. Although because I wanted thicker chains I bought sterling silver chains coated in 14k gold. So not a lot of gold content, but didn't break the bank for a thicker chain.

So I'm kind of failing the gold crew there haha
