Prostate cancer in younger men increasing
Tumors In Young Men Are More Aggressive
Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among African-American, Hispanic, and white men in the US. Luckily the five-year survival rate is high over the age of 40, but the tumors of younger men grow more quickly making you less likely to survive.
Family History Plays A Major Role
Men who have a father, brother, or son who developed prostate cancer at a young age are at the highest risk to develop prostate cancer. Knowing your family history could help save your life.
Causes Are Unclear
Many think that growing obesity in the US is contributing to the increase in prostate cancer in young men. In addition, some believe physical inactivity is involved along with HPV infections, substance exposure and environmental carcinogens.
If you are a young man, exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy weight and healthy diet could help you live longer.
Testing Is Easy But Timing Is Inconclusive
You can be tested for prostate cancer in the doctor’s office with a digital rectal exam and a blood test.
Speak to Louisiana Healthcare Associates Urology Division about your individual situation and when you should begin testing. If you have a higher than average risk you may want to begin testing at age 40.
Early Stage Prostate Cancer And Watchful Waiting
This is employed along with regular evaluations and imaging tests to watch for any progression of the cancer. It helps avoid over-treatment and risks like urinary incontinence and sexual dysfunction.

One factor is that men now live longer, which means they are more likely to have a prostate cancer diagnosis during their lifetime. Another factor is that changes in screening practices have led to more prostate cancers being detected in younger men.
Additionally, there are several lifestyle factors that may increase the risk of prostate cancer in young men, including:
Obesity
Physical inactivity
A diet high in red meat and processed foods
Smoking
Excessive alcohol consumption
Exposure to certain chemicals, such as pesticides and herbicides

I suffered from prostatitis for a while in my early-mid 20s.
That main issues are typically tight pelvic floor (mine was caused by my scoliosis) putting pressure on your prostate, and diet.
Stay away from most dairy, minimal vegetable consumption besides ones on the low fodmap diet guidelines, stay away from fiber intake, and too much processed foods.
The combination of stretching for me, and eliminating most dairy, and not eating the majority of vegetables besides ones low in rafinose, completely got rid of my prostatitis. Almost never had flare ups after besides when I'd eat too much dairy or the wrong vegetables.
It's the constant inflammation that causes it to….well be inflamed. Inflammation = bad. Especially for the prostate.

Misc carries the belief that stroking-off frequently will stop prostate cancer in it's tracks. So they'll continue to do that with zero concern about anything else. May even touch themselves more often because of this thread.

A "diet high in red meat" my ass. How about suicidal levels of sugar intake, suicidal levels of artificial sweeteners, suicidal levels of seed oils, and a plethora of other toxins that people consume who are too lazy to prepare real food.

Fiber is a very important nutrition. Keeps you full, keeps blood sugar down, and helps with passing stool. This country is obese and could use more fiber.
Vegetables are also good for you

As for smoking, they don't do that either, they vape.

My advice is what works because it's based on reality. Not propagandized nutritional guidelines by the medical industry that wants you unhealthy. If these guidelines were correct, then prostate cancer would not be on the rise, let alone prostatitis.
Fiber is causing the majority of digestive inflammatory issues in people and aided by sugar/processed foods. You know all those people with Crohns disease, IBS, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis? Yea just don't eat fiber. Ever. It should never be ingested.
Vegetables are also 100% unnecessary in any way shape or form. They offer you some of the worst bioavailability forms of minerals and vitamins, most need to be cooked to even digest well enough to not bloat you, and most are just man made that don't exist in nature pre Monsanto/GMOs.

For some reason I feel really good if i take psyllium husk at night, and then use the bathroom in the morning after a cup of coffee. the pysllium husk binds to everything in the gut and cleans you out
watermelon hurts my stomach if i eat too much. it gave me diareah earlier today actually
rice and potatoes feel fine to me, but don't have that cleaning effect that psyllium has. i'm not sure if constantly taking psyllium is a good thing though. maybe once in a while if there's an important event
