It's better than the shared cage rooms I've seen there where they put like 10 cages in a 750 square foot apartment and one was directly above the shared bathroom SRS

mine was 50% bigger located in kowloon. It was a great time, I spend all my time out in LKF/wanchai and bars. just slept there. the 2BR apartment was valued more than >$1mio USD back then. HK is expensive af because it's an island.

nonetheless, the china mainland is in fact really better when it comes to affordability than this UK influenced part of China. prices back then were frustrating and similar to UK. it's more like a playground for wealthy people but you can get by if you want.
