Game recommendation from me : No Man's Sky
So..
I never played this game until this year, 2024.
This game initially came out in 2016 and had a bad reception.
Well, since then, the dev team + Sony worked hard on it… they have added so much to the game.
I am here to report, this game is awesome. If you love Sci-Fi, space, all that… this game is so good. So much to do, so much content. After 20 hours playing, one of my favorite things to do is getting in my little starship, and taking off from whatever planet I am in, flying up out of the atmosphere, and suddenly being in space… ready to Pulse Drive to another planet in that system, or Warp Drive to another system entirely….
It also has base building, like minecraft. And you can change the terrain of any planet you land on, like minecraft. And upgrade your ship, your exosuit, your exocraft, your multi-tool, you can even get a giant Freighter (I got one that looks like a Star Destroyer from SW) I warp drived into a random system looking for a specific mineral to mine (Copper) and ran into space pirates attacking a merchant vessel… I saved them and earned my way to the Freighter…
I just traded my first starship for another one. I saw a really cool starship with solar sails on it (recharges pulse drive so you don't have to use fuel on it)… it was on a Space Station by an NPC who just landed. I talked to him, and traded for it. My starship was only worth 4mil, and his was worth 9.5 mil.. I had to pay the difference with my units (i'm broke now)..
this game is amazing, dude. Recommended if you love scifi, space, etc.

I love NMS, it's easily been one of my GOAT games. If you get deep into it, it can be one of the most amazing games if you're into space and exploration.

bought it, played the tutorial but then stopped, I'll have to give it another chance

Art style doesn’t appeal to me and the bad pr they got on release doesn’t help.
I’d much rather play Starfield made by a reputable company if I’m to get into a space themed game

The game has been redeemed. And this is coming from someone who never played this game until literally a few months ago.
