RIP,
He could have been in more fans prayers had he not kept his illness private. But he chose to. Family Respected his wishes so that’s how he wanted it. Other pro wrestlers have gotten prayers and donations sent their way on go fund me for much lesser health issues.

I believe Sid should have been bigger than he was. I understand he was a WWE champion, but dude had the face, the body, and he wasn't too bad on the mic too

Can't stand how today's wrestling fan craps on all the big slow guys of the past and nuts their pants over every wrestler who does a lot of holds, flips and dives. Sid was good at what he did. He was a big, intimidating, unpredictable powerhouse and played the part well. Wrestling desperately needs guys like him back at the top of the card. If you accidentally scuffed Bryan Danielson's boot one night in a bar, you probably wouldn't even give a ****. You'd just go on about your night. Scuff a guy like Sid's boot, and you're fearing for your life. The guy might ring your neck. And that sort of feeling presents well on television. Brings a sense of legitimacy to the product.

Psycho Sid was one of my favorites he had low key one of the best physiques of the 90s. Dude was tall and jacked and his power bomb always looked vicious

Damn. My uncle was a pro athlete and they did a promo thing with the WWF (in your house 9). Got to spend an afternoon hanging around Psycho Sid, Ahmed Johnson, and Sable. Other legends were around too (British bulldog/Vader/undertaker) but the first 3 were so nice and friendly.

Watch sid vs hbk 96 survivor series

It was the first time a heel got a massive pop like that when he won.

Hbk was a ph@got gimmick, couldn't understand why any guy would cheer for him

Sid was the first true anti hero, before they gave that role to Stone cold
