Former WWE star Billy Jack Haynes has reportedly been arrested after a stand-off with police, who later found a woman - believed to be his wife - shot dead inside the property. Police officers in Portland, Oregon, responded to reports of a shooting inside a home on Southeast 100th Avenue near Southeast Yukon Street just before 10am on (Thursday, February 9).

Officers found a man inside a property who was being uncooperative. The surrounding neighbourhood was put under a shelter-in-place order. Police said a man was detained around two hours later. They found a woman, believed to be his wife, dead when they entered. Cops have not named the male suspect, but Wrestling Observer journalist Jim Valley confirmed Haynes was the man arrested.

Neighbour Steve Odry told KOIN the man involved used to tell "old wrestling" stories. He said: "He was telling me all kinds of stories about old wrestling and I told him how I used to go watch him. "I decided to go for a walk when I saw all the cops down by my house. And I just then noticed all the blocks taped off and I just came down here."

A former WWE employee who reached a $3 million settlement to keep quiet about a relationship with company boss Vince McMahon has come forward with allegations that he sexually abused her — including with sex toys that he named after wrestling stars.

Janel Grant filed a lawsuit in Connecticut federal court on Thursday alleging that McMahon locked her inside his private locker room at WWE headquarters in Stamford and forced himself on her over a massage table.

She alleged in the complaint that McMahon sent her a text message in May 2020 which read: “i’m the only one who owns U and controls who I want to f— U.”

This is reminding me of when they wouldn't STFU about Daniel Bryan going over at Mania instead of Batista who would have bought a lot more mainstream eyes to the event.

Well Bryan did go over, then got injured about 2 weeks later or some shut then became a janitor or something then ****ed off to AEW and who the hell even cares.

I grew up watching wrestling in the 80's and I've tried to get back into it but it just seems kind of lame now. Even though the characters back then were completely over the top and cartoonish it still somehow seemed more real and less scripted. None of the new wrestlers seem to have anywhere near the charisma of the old school guys. The matches seem to be too rehearsed and more like an acrobatics show than a proper wrestling match.

Few weeks ago, most are excited for the possibility of Brooks vs. Rollins, Roman vs. Rock. Now, Brooks, Rollins(possibly) out. No Brock either. So who do you think?

I haven't really watched much pro-wrestling in the past few months. Work/travel has eaten up a lot of my time, including a long stint in Japan & traveling through Vietnam. But of course I tune in for the Rumble, and during the women's match, I couldn't help but notice that nearly every competitor looked 10 lbs heavier than when I last watched back around Summerslam.

No joke, the only ones that didn't look like they'd put on weight was Maxxine Dupre, Chelsea Green and Kacy Catanzaro (sorry I mean "Katana whateverthefuk").

So 3 out of 30 women. Are the other 27 women doing a bulk/cut routine in preparation for Wrestlemania?
