Stock markets getting ready for big bounce? Bull Divergence identified 🔎
on the Dow jones , Nasdaq and SPY , even the ASX ( Australia stock exchange ) is showing bull divergence on the Daily time frame. MACD Momentum is coming up ( Bottom indicator ) While Price is making the Lower low. Also the Stochastic RSI is in over-sold territory.

So while everyone is shouting " Collapse , crash ! ' just keep this in mind. because the FED is going to be printing again very soon and they passed that " unlimited spending " deal earlier this year, So there is also that.... the USD is done, toast , finito.. must be a Face ripping rally coming to Stock markets 2024.

Dow Jones

Nasdaq

MISC Crypto Crew (MCC) Vol.3 Fork it ...im all in!
OG thread:https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showt...hp?t=173249701

Vol. 1:https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showt...hp?t=174270261
Vol. 2:https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showt...hp?t=174590131

The two "big" Crypto's are Bitcoin (the OG) and Ethereum (ETH). There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of other coins but all flow through ETH/BTC (mostly BTC). As a trader you will mostly be trading your $$ into Bitcoin to invest in these other coins.

Bitcoin -Bitcoin Summary

Ethereum -
Ethereum for Everyone
Beginner's Guide to ETH

Where do I go if I want to get in on this???

The only ways to buy bitcoin/ethereum with your dollars are through these things called exchanges.

Examples of exchanges: (links to each exchange will be added later)

(Dollars -> BTC/ETH)

Coinbase- most newb friendly/high fees. You can buy Bitcoins and Ethereum here with your dollars.

~~~RECOMMENDED EXCHANGES (for US brahs)~~~
GDAX- owned by Coinbase. Lower fees. Cons - requires a SSN which not everyone is comfortable with
Gemini- low fees, nice interface. Cons - Takes time to get verified so you can make deposits
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kraken- Similar wait time to get verified as Gemini, if not longer. I don't personally use Kraken but others do
Canadian brahs useQuadrigaCX
from these above exchanges, you can take your dollars and convert them to Ethereum or Bitcoins. Now..you could just hold these coins and be happy, or you could explore into the world of alt coins.
(BTC -> alt coins)
Bittrex
Poloniex
Kraken also has a altcoins, being one of the only exchanges with USD -> BTC/ETH as well as BTC/ETH -> alt coins
Liquio,EtherDelta,Bitfinexare some other exchanges
Binance
Common Terminology Used
Glossary of terms
Way too many to list so I will just put down a few most commonly used, please refer to the link above ^ for a broader list of terms. Google is your friend!
Fiat - Government-issued currency, such as the US dollar.
ICO - Initial coin offering. Crypto's version of an IPO
FOMO - Fear of missing out.
FUD - Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt. Basically people spreading chit to try and get ppl scared so they'll sell at inopportune moments
Hodl - Crypto folk's version of the word "hold"
Pump And Dump - The recurring cycle of an altcoin getting a ton of attention, leading to a fast price increase, and then of course followed by a huge crash.
Shilling / pumping - Someone essentially advertising another crypto-currency for their own personal gain. If a coin is promised to cure cancer or be the second coming of Jesus, it's being shilled.
Altcoin - Generally any crypto-currency other than Bitcoin or Ethereum. (Though some Bitcoin folks would probably still say Ethereum is an altcoin)
ATH - All time high
Bearish - Expecting prices to decrease
Bullish - Expecting prices to increase
Going long - A margin trade that profits if the price increases.
Going short -A margin trade that profits if the price decreases.
MEW - MyEtherWallet
Bitcoin subreddit - Mothership coin gets a mention here
Great, I've got my coins now. HOW DO I KEEP MYSELF SECURE???
General security tips
Also consider getting a Nano Ledger/off-exchange wallet
[General investing tips]
-!!!!GOLDEN RULE!!! - Don't invest more than you are willing to lose. Crypto can be great profits but it can all disappear in an instant as well
-Do YOUR OWN research on any coin before making an investment in it. Don't just listen to some other person and buy it without doing your due diligence. A lot of people will talk up any coin they own shares up (shilling) while some may even spread FUD about other coins
-General ideas of coins with potential: good dev team, solid community (active subreddit/slack channels), small market cap (WITH POTENTIAL TO GROW), and of course..a great product
-Veterans (me not being one of them as I'm about a month deep in crypto) stress to HODL - Don't panic sell your coins just because they're having a bad day. If you believe in the coin, the technology, and the devs...BUY THE ****ING DIP!!
Do any of you fine gents or women have any experience with P6 Planning and scheduling program? I've had an opportunity come up here at work but don't have any working Experience with that Program. I've been told it's used with Construction and Engineering Management.
If any, could I get some recommendations for training if possible?
Thanks
Bitcoin People... help me out
I've searched, and couldn't find a good answer, so....
Help me understand the bitcoin (or the 1000+ other coins) out there. Sure, it can be used as a currency and retailers (I think some have actually tried it), but the violently of it is insane... what sound retailer or person would accept it as payment if it could lose 5+ percent in minutes? Retailers would likely just sell it as soon as it hits their system for $$, right?
It's not tax free as the recent years have shown, so that isn't it. It can be tracked by the wallet, so it's not secretive.
Help me out on why this is better than a stable dollar, or gold?
Indexes will Crash after Fed Pivots
I am cashing out if I reach cost basis and going into t-bonds/HYSA's
Feds are keen on keeping rates high until something breaks, and history repeats. I think stocks will rebound with anticipation of the pivot which is your chance to get out ahead for some time and then get back in at a nicely discounted price
thoughts?
Coke Stocks 2014 to date
I was looking at different company stocks and came across Coke. I looked over their history, and I noticed something.
At the start of 2019, coke was sitting at around $200 per share. In just three years, they went up to over $500 per share. Today they’re sitting at $632, but had been as high as $713 a few months prior. WTF?! I have never seen a large cap company do this before.
Not even Amazon did that. Did Coke consolidate their shares? Have they done this a few times, because their gains looking at the numbers have been crazy since 2005. If so, how does consolidating the shares benefit the company?
Thanks for taking a moment to read this. Im trying to help my wife find a loan officer to answer the following questions for an assignment. She is in a real estate course where they need to briefly interview an MLO. If you are one could you please answer the following questions even if brief? Please and thank you
Please DM basic contact info as well please.
Gather some basic information about the company:
Co-Workers Constantly Put on Light Duties
I work in a place that constantly hires people who repeatedly go on light duties.
Never been put on light duties myself and I've been there 8 years.
Since I do more than my share of the physical work, will it end in a shorter career because of wear and tear on the body?
I feel like Boxer from Animal Farm.
All in one website/app
This is more of just me testing the waters here but hypothetically if there was a website and app (more than likely the website would be first and the app would be created later down the road) that was like an all in one type of thing so for example it would have logs for your workouts, different types of exercises, a calorie calculator, recipes etc. would people actually use that kind of software or would i just be wasting my time
for clarification it would launch with a couple of features but more would be added as time goes on
What Are Your Thoughts On This Time Card/Break Time Entry
I have a half hour unpaid break during my shift.
But I only take ten minutes of that break then return to my shift.
When I leave I then extend my finish time by 20 minutes(on the time card).
Thoughts?
How would you spend 100k each year? Srs
Job opportunity in middle east (*****).
Doing the math id be saving around £100k each year. Perhaps more as years go by.
As I know this will be a finite experience 5-15 years, how should i invest it?
Buy rental properties back home and return home with a portfolio of ~7 properties? A chunk into things like s&p 500? Do something else?
Any recruiting brahs on here?
I’m in my second year of uni and I am considering a career as a recruiter. I am very attracted to the potential of a high salary with just a bachelors degree.
Are any of you recruiters? Tell me about your experiences. Is it as ‘easy’ as people make it out to be?
What are some good investment strategies for beginners?
Here are some investment strategies that can be good for beginners:
1. Start with a 401(k) or IRA: If your employer offers a 401(k) plan, start by contributing enough to get the employer match. If you don't have access to a 401(k), consider opening an individual retirement account (IRA) to take advantage of the tax benefits.
2. Consider index funds: Index funds are a type of mutual fund that tracks a particular stock market index. They offer broad market exposure and tend to have lower fees than actively managed funds.
3. Diversify your portfolio: Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify your portfolio by investing in a mix of stocks, bonds, and other assets.
4. Start small: It's okay to start small and invest a little bit at a time. You can gradually increase your contributions as you become more comfortable with investing.
5. Invest for the long-term: Investing is a long-term game. Don't get caught up in short-term fluctuations in the market. Stay focused on your goals and stay invested for the long-term.
6. Seek professional advice: Consider consulting with a financial advisor who can help you develop an investment strategy that's tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Career Advice: Make the most of Linkedin
Srs.
See way too many people who make a Linkedin page just for the sake of having it, but it is almost worse than if they didn't have one at all since it gives the impression of them not really caring.
Take the time to sit down and flush it out. List all your positions and find the way to translate your experiences from those positions in the most generous way possible. Don't lie, that is not wise, but do be creative in how you present your experience.
Be specific. Get into the granular aspects of your job and provide bullet points of your responsibilities.
If you have a strong Linkedin profile you WILL get attention from recruiters. I get pitches from recruiters on a regular basis. Sometimes even if you are actively applying, rather than being recruited, they will still consult your Linkedin during the decision making process. A lot of HR platforms have Linkedin capabilities built right in for this purpose.
In addition to fleshing out your roles you need a personal bio (professional), a clean pic, and then you need to be slightly active. I don't mean you have to post and share articles, but join some groups in your industry and that will help get recruiter attention as well.
Plenty of accomplished miscers on here that would be more than happy to provide tips and pointers for any career oriented brahs looking to improve on this sort of thing.
Traditional vs Roth 401k/IRA - which do you have?
Usually when I switch employers I alternate between putting money in a Roth 401k and Traditional 401K. When I leave, I rollover the funds into one of my IRA’s. Dont really feel one is significantly more beneficial than the other so just curious on which one you guys primarily prefer.
