Turbos are for 2 things.......throwing as much boost down the throat of the strongest V8 you can afford to make it the fastest it can be before bending a rod or lifting a head AND Big Diesels so they can have the torque to pull a house off it's foundation.

Has anyone asked why we need 500-600hp in a half ton?
We bitch an moan about the bloat in price but keep stuffing screens and bigger engines in, it's way past what anyone needs a typical half ton truck for. Why cant we get an overbuilt 300 horse engine, focus on mileage and reliability instead of headline horsepower numbers.

This new Hurricane motor is legit, and should be REALLY nice once they utilize it with a hybrid system.
