Raised by my grandmother and first time I moved out officially I was 22, but moved back in on different terms. Finally bought a house and then soon after she moved in with me. She moved away, I moved back in with her, moved away again, then she was over 90 so decided it was best we live together. Now it isn't an option because now I just have her ashes in a box. No good. I guess she moved out and on for good.

I don't see myself living without her unless I'm traveling.

I would've actually done this if the only available room in the house didn't have to go to my drunk uncle who threw his life away. Still pisses me off tbh. Doesn't have any plans to move out, been living at the family's house for like 2 years now. Meanwhile my rent is going to be $1700 after renewal, and bills bring me to over $2k. Ffs.

Have my own apartment in my parents house. My life would not improve much if I moved out based on rent in nyc. Never had a girl call me a loser but instead they have told me how lucky I am to have parents that don’t kick me out because they are aware of the absurd cost of living here. With that being said, I’m saving all my shekels and taking full advantage of my good fortune.
