Raised by my grandmother and first time I moved out officially I was 22, but moved back in on different terms. Finally bought a house and then soon after she moved in with me. She moved away, I moved back in with her, moved away again, then she was over 90 so decided it was best we live together. Now it isn't an option because now I just have her ashes in a box. No good. I guess she moved out and on for good.

She started the job at 19 when she had almost zero responsibilities (it's a VERY well paying job for someone who is younger than at least mid-20's), when she still lived with her father. Moved in with some bf she had when she was like 20, so any bills she did have upon moving out were cut in half immediately. She lived with the bf dude for a couple years before slooting on him, then moved back to her father's place at age 23.
She talks about how her father never charges her any rent or makes her pay for anything like food/utilities/etc. at the house. She's been getting a free ride for half a year again now, and is taking her sweet asss time moving back out. Probably won't move out until she finds some other bf to cuck and let her move in with them.
The entire thing is completely absurd to me. Bitch could easily be giving her father like $1,500 a month for everything he does/has done for her when she's been a grown adult who should be taking care of herself, and she's still be able to bank a ton of extra cash. No coindicence she's a total little slootbag entitled bitch when she continues to have EVERYTHING handed to her on a damn silver platter as she approaches her fkn mid-20's.

I don't think it is bad if the he is trying to save up cash to buy house, make investments or putting his whole effort in getting a business off the ground.
But if he just does nothing and has no ambition...ya that is a different story.

if you are a bum with no job, no education etc. then it's a different story, but in that case you're a loser anyway not just because you live with your parents. and things are just different in different cultures, americans like throwing their kids out the second they no longer legally have to look after them. other cultures the parents will refuse to let their kids leave until they are financially very stable, getting married etc.

Not to mention, women in most of those cultures are not traditionally going to be focused on working in the same sense men are, whereas in the U.S., women entering the workforce has been standard for several decades now. Parents in the U.S. aren't waiting for some dude to offer them the highest number of goats and chicken to marry their daughters, so of course women in there don't hold off until marriage before moving out on their own.

JFL at thinking living on your own paying rent makes you an adult or responsible. Living on your own when your parents live close to you and have a spare bedroom is a luxury. That's all it is.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

I live with my mom at 33.
I don't see myself living without her unless I'm traveling.
She took care of me all my life and I will take care of her all her life.
That said, if you can afford your own house and live on your own, that's comes with it some perks too!

I would've actually done this if the only available room in the house didn't have to go to my drunk uncle who threw his life away. Still pisses me off tbh. Doesn't have any plans to move out, been living at the family's house for like 2 years now. Meanwhile my rent is going to be $1700 after renewal, and bills bring me to over $2k. Ffs.

it's pretty much just yankoid culture which encourages young people to flee the home as soon as they legally can, which is some of the most potato tier financial and life planning

Unless they got killed in a divorce or sudden unexpected job loss it is a sign of low test and lazy. 2 grown men shouldn’t be able to live together unless low test. My father and I would have killed each other had I stayed past 19.

You sure like to throw around the whole "yank" insult a lot while railing on about American culture. What are you, European? If so, then I'm sorry I bothered trying to discuss this with someone brought up in the motherland of entitlement socialist cultures...

That's one thing I notice gets overlooked a lot whemever these threads are made. I wouldn't call someone a loser or think less of them for living with their parent(s) at an older age (say 25+), if they are the ones sharing their own house with the parent(s).
That being said, it's still pretty brutal on dating life. You won't automatically lose every potential shot at decent relationship material women over having a parent live with you at your place, but it makes it much more difficult. Good luck getting things going when a chick you bring home realizes she can never scream like a banshee during sex with you in your own home, or that she could accidentally bump into the wrong person when she are on their way to the bathroom to rinse the remninents of the load you blew in her mouth.

I left my parent's house at 15. The plan now is to build a compound so they can live with me.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Well, it is exactly what it sounds like. It's a shoebox, or at least once was, and whenever I masturbate I cum into it. I've had it for two or three years now I think, so it has a fair amount of cum. It smells atrocious, and I tried to burn it once. When I lit it on fire, it was too damp due to the cum that it simply sizzled and didn't manage to actually lite up. Turns out burning cum smells awful, so I had to spray it with a deodorant body spray just to get the old smell of burnt cum away. It also has some drenched papers stuck to it. That's pretty much it.
Because people were asking, my greatest shame.
EDIT 2: A lot of people are asking me, why? Well, I'm apparently a rather disturbed individual. But, it just kind of happened, bought new shoes and needed someplace to cum, used the box. It just escalated from there, kept using it each time, telling myself I would throw it out soon. Never did, two or three years later, I still have it. It was planned or anything, it just happened.
EDIT 3: ****, this really exploded. ~20,000+ views of my cum box. Did not expect this.
Edit 4: I often get PMed about updates or current status of the box, generally a few a week. So I might as well update this post, if anyone even gets linked here anymore. Current status, I have created life. Mold has begun to grow in the box and has taken over a fair amount. Smells a bit worse, mainly due to a damper apartment so it does not dry as fast, hence the reason why the mold has begun. New picture.
I will never be rid of my need for it. I hate and love the box, just as I hate and love myself.
Also, what the **** 2.7million views. Never could have expected this outcome.

Have my own apartment in my parents house. My life would not improve much if I moved out based on rent in nyc. Never had a girl call me a loser but instead they have told me how lucky I am to have parents that don’t kick me out because they are aware of the absurd cost of living here. With that being said, I’m saving all my shekels and taking full advantage of my good fortune.
Seems like its always guys putting others down for not living on their own and not chicks. No simp either.
