Livelihoods should not be destroyed to prevent the deaths of octogenarians. They are old as fuk, it is just their time. I don't actually believe the motivation of people who support lockdowns is to prevent the deaths of octogenarians though. That is just what they say in an attempt to appear moral. The real motivation is spite and vindictiveness, simple fear and cowardice or both.
