Caging animals, fencing them in, or taking them out of their natural habitat is wrong...
living in a cage or small space isnt a fun way to live. Pets are not confined in cages and small spaces there whole life.
Wont eat an unfertilized free range chicken egg...
see point above. Egg chickens are kept in horrible conditions and get sick/little exercise. again not a fun way to live
Many justify eating plants because they don't feel pain despite them being living organisms...
there is more to it than feeling pain. for example drugging up a cow wont change the fact that it was killed. Most animals have a strong desire to live. And again this cow was probably fenced in and contained all its life
Won't eat honey...
yes this one is dumb
while many vegans make the whole thing sound dumb and crazy it really is just based around compassion at what most feel is morally right. People eat meat and feel bad, but they are led to believe they need meat to survive and be healthy. I wish it was possible to spread information on veganism without some meat eaters freaking the F out.
Also being vegan isnt for everyone. I feel every little bit helps. Such as being vegitarian. or limiting animal product intake.

Guess what, I find him annoying too and think he needs a good punch in the face for some of the things he's done. The problem is, the fact that he's annoying and an arrogant little sh*t doesn't make what he says any less true.
It's not even about "pain", but you can call it that if it makes it easier. Fundamentally life consumes in order to continue. To become vegan is to play favoritism to the forms of life you comprehend to feel "pain". A non vegan, while potentially consuming unethically or having a larger negative impact on the environment does not, nonetheless, make this logical error.

Unless you believe that all animals deserve to suffer equally, in which case you should be campaigning for cats, dogs, horses, and other animals to be bred for slaughter to ensure that they're treated equally to cows, pigs, chickens, sheep etc. Stroking your cat or dog while it sits on your lap, then going to your kitchen to cook a piece of rotting cow flesh, is practicing specieism of the highest order. Would you eat cat and dog if you went to an asian country where eating them is commonplace such as vietnam, or korea?
Domestic animals have been bred to live quite peacefully with us and we've grown to enjoy the taste of their flesh. I can buy horse meat at the butcher in my city if I wish. I have eaten horse, frogs, variety of insects, moth larvae, snails, many other invertebrates. Perhaps I've eaten dog or cat unknowingly (possibly even in China...).
I don't think that emotionally it's a good idea to eat a pet, unless you are faced with a very tough situation (say you and your family are starving in some unforeseen disaster). I would not like to eat my houseplants either... unless I was really out of food. Otherwise yes, why couldn't you raise dogs for food or perhaps sustainably hunt wild dogs for food? I can tell you that many farmers (small time or hobby farmers) love their livestock to some extent, but when the day comes they will slaughter to feed their family. There is nothing like the taste of freshly slaughtered meat from an animal that has lived a great life outside on a farm. It takes a certain strength to care for your crops and plants then harvest them. To care for your animals, then slaughter them. This is the nature of being human. Our ancestors did the same, and trust me they respected BOTH plants and animals.

Also, my argument is primarily concerned with the animal agriculture industry and the mass slaughter of billions of animals each year, and the massive environmental destruction, ethical issues, and the cost to both human and animal lives associated with it. As for hunting wild dogs for food, lol. Lord...the mental gymnastics you people will go through. Hmm, well let's see. I couldn't hunt wild dogs for food because I live in Australia, where the only wild dogs are dingoes which are a protected species, and I'd run the risk of imprisonment and/or heavy fines if I was caught capturing or attempting to kill one of them. There's also the fact that, ya know, they live hundreds of miles away from me and I'd have to go to hire an aboriginal tracker and go into the desert just to find one of them. Hunting wild dogs for food isn't very practical, you see. Abstaining from eating animal products is very practical.

"Free-range" is another marketing gimmick to make you think that the chickens/hens are actually treated well and live out in the open on some farmer's big field. It's BS; The only thing "free-range" means is that there is a tiny access cut out from the warehouse where a few of the chickens might get to see light of day. Free-range has no legal definition in the USA.

You dumb ****s are real quick to tell us how our burgers will give us cancer but won't turn down a beer from your favorite hipster brewing company. ITT morons with no ethics or morals deluding themselves into thinking they are somehow more important than other animals so its ok to kill them (more often than not in a gruesome manner) because apparently buying prepackaged meat means that they are "alpha" as they fail to understand we as a species are supposed to have evolved since the days were the choices were hunt animals or starve.
Firstly having a pet that you love and look after is nothing like sticking an animal in a cage and pumping it full of drugs until it grows to a certain size and then you kill it, and what about rescue animal? you cant possible equate someone taking an animal from a high kill rate shelter and giving it a loving home to factory farms.
Whats your point supposed to be with abortion? its a persons choice to make anyone that tries to force them one way or the other is wrong. How did you arrive at comparison to eating eggs? last I checked not many people in the world are eating aborted babies.
Whats the difference between plants an animals? seriously? One is a simple organism with no self awareness, the other is a living creature that can experience emotions and pain and fear.
The honey thing follows the definition of veganism
"Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose"
The bees may not be killed to get honey, but they are exploited as it takes generations of bees to make any real quantity of it and for some person to take it when they can very easily live without out is according to veganism wrong.
I would never try to force veganism on anyone, that is retarded, but if I one day read an argument against veganism that has a single shred of fact or logic to support it I think my head would explode.

Many buy as local as possible, and when thats not possible buying "grains and bull**** superfoods " from overseas is hardly the same as choosing to support a disgusting industry just because you have no morals, no self control and/or are just outright lazy.
^ also on your "argument" about grains "U.S. could feed 800 million people with grain that livestock eat, Cornell ecologist advises animal scientists" old but relevant, I cant post the link but just google that quote if you want the article.
Soy farming is one of the least resource and land draining sources.
Many vegans are sugar free, and id even say most use alternatives like xylitol and erythritol
Most alcohol is not vegan
Also provide a link to one "faux meat product" owned by coke or pepsi.

You dumb ****s are real quick to tell us how our burgers will give us cancer but won't turn down a beer from your favorite hipster brewing company. You know your diet indirectly kills animals, but you won't promote local farming and diet which ultimately promotes less death and environmental issues. You'll tell me don't eat eggs because of cholesterol, meat because if saturated fat, but eat your vegan junk food that's loaded with sugar and faux meat products that are owned by coke or pepsi.

the meat industry is fukked in a lot of places, and i agree that we should eat less meat as there are too many people in the world to feed and meat isn't very sustainable. however, this is something that needs to be sorted out from the top. it should be a government's responsibility to ensure the meat trade is as ethically sound as is reasonable.
with your sort of attitude it would be ironic if you had a fuel powered car, used any form of energy that isn't generated from biomass... in fact, the idea that you are using some sort of electronic device right now is laughable. do you know where the components to your device were sourced from? do you know the logistics behind getting that device to you? what about the packaging it came in, the company who made it's human rights legislation...
don't preach what you can't back up. it makes you look like a b!tch.

Vegans are simply mentally and emotionally soft and cannot accept the fact that life feeds on life. It's a cycle, and they claim you don't 'need' it, but I also don't 'need' to follow their ideology either. One species of life simply has a higher functioning neural system and now they're not part of the food chain?
