If the package required a signature and they do not have YOUR signature its FedEx's fault plain and simple.

Them Investigating it, is them leading you along until you give up so they dont have to pay.

If your credit card wont take care of it, you have a chit credit card. Get rid of it and get a better one.

Also contact the company you ordered from and see if you can get them to deal with FedEx for you.

According to their rules you have to recieve the package in order to do a chargeback
The package in Memphis, TN I should be receiving... according to them it's just held up with customs anyways so I wouldn't of got all my items so I'll qualify for a chargeback

OP orders a $6k package with signature required and they still delivered it, regardless of no signature.

I ordered a $12 item from eBay and they wouldn't leave it without signature. Even signed that slip they leave at your door saying that I authorize them to leave it...still nope.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.

I'm calling BS. Their is no proof that you received the delivery. The cc company will allow you to dispute. It is then on the merchant to prove that it was delivered.

I am a software engineer for one of the largest payment processors in the country. I have worked on charge back systems.

If capital one is not doing this, then contact the card network directly.

Also, have you contacted the merchant? They won't want a chargeback and should work with FedEx to resolve this.

Sucks man. In my experience the cc company usually sides with the customer until the merchant can prove otherwise.

Do you have a history of failed chargeback so?

Guess you will have to keep the pressure on FedEx.

OP most likely ordered some Celltech. Since its 6000 dollars, my guess is theres several months worth of a certain hormone.

Vendors always make signature required whenever they send packages out of postal service. OP paid either through some sort of money transfer service like western union or moneygram and can't be refunded to his cc. This is because money transfer services can't refund you because technically you are not supposed to be purchasing anything through them.

That, or OP used bitcoin which is very difficult to trace and to refund.

Either way, OP can only contest FedEx. Since they have no signature there is no proof of delivery and OP should get his $ back.

Had the same happen to an iPhone 6. Retarded UPS driver didn't take my signature despite it being required and left it in the lobby of this apartment complex i lived in at the time, in a sketch area. Got home an hour after I got the delivery email and no **** a iPhone sized box just sitting there is gonna get snatched.

Luckily it was insured and they eventually gave me $650 for it (not full price) and only like two months later.
