I conclude that whether they want them or not...they want them.

You're likely to be in better health, more likely to be employed, employers take married men more seriously, you're less likely to end up with messed up children, you're generally happier too
People complain about marriage the same way they complain about working...NEVER take married couples whining seriously. I tend to find its those ones who are actually more likely to stay together.
If you want to look at how damaging a lack of marriage is, take a look at the black american community. Fat, perpetually single women raising children on their own with little to no support and confused young men who look towards entertainers and degenerates for inspiration. That now seems happening to everyone. Its weird the way things come full circle.

The real battle will likely come in 15 or so years where public health providers and health insurers will start getting told they need to foot the bill for IVF treatment for ALL women. Former CEO is a great business man, and in my country, women over 37+ will be entitled to one free round of IVF if they haven't had it before. This will take place in 3 years or so. The company I worked at will be the primary center for these "public" contracts. H negotiated the deals with our health minister. Also struck up a partnership with the largest health insurance provider in the country, which includes a fertility benefits package - subsidised costs to IVF and during the diagnostic cycle (Mandatory tests/scans - AMH, AFC scans) as well as semen analysis and other male fertility tests.
I do not know if you have relevant reproductive/ fertility industry experience, but you have absolutely hit the nail on the head on what is coming/has arrived.
ALso, do not trust anyone on what they say about deformities etc in this thread. Have plenty of experience and a lightly medicated timed sexual intercourse/ IUI has been more than enough for a large percentage of women in the early 40's and late 30's to concieve.
The real hammer is when they hit 45 though, most places (ethically) wont allow a woman to undergo IVF adn donor egg (young womans egg implanted) is usually the only option, with often multiple times needed. This is when trisomies like downs/edwards etc. start to ramp up. Expect to see a very large icnrease of twins in the coming decade or so as well
Edit: Can confirm young woman was sponsored partially in her egg freezing by big 4 firm

Do they expect that people will then implant the eggs when they are 50, so you'll then see women in their 50s pregnant.
And then who will be supporting these children? Do they hope the 30somethings who freeze their eggs will save their money to raise children while being members of AARP? The over 50s will have a tough time getting jobs in hi-tech due to ageism, so I don't understand why people would agree to freeze their eggs and delaying childbirth. There's no guarantee those eggs will work in a 50 year old woman.
Or do they expect these people will just go away and have babies when they are too old to work (i.e. ages 40-50), which makes no sense since social security starts at age 65.
What are they supposed to do between 50-65???

ALso, a really big shock that general population hasn't a clue about is that frozen eggs really haven't a great guarantee of being used successfully. SO many factors such as male fertiity factor, female linig, hormonal issues etc. come into play. Just getting them to even form an embryo can be very tedious
The best thing a person can do is aim to have multipleembryosfrozen. This is basically a unfreeze and pop them in scenario.

Seems like a huge gamble for women (and their husbands/boyfriends) to freeze eggs and delay offspring so that she can focus on her career?
Another problem for these companies is that so many people are hitting age 30 that the # of maternity and paternity leaves are hurting companies in terms of productivity, and trying to find backfills for these positions.
I'm so glad I had a baby before all of this! I didn't even care about "career"! When that biological clock started ticking at age 30, I just wanted a baby and career was just something that was secondary.
I lost my job while on maternity leave and it did hurt me to have a young child "interviews would say 'who is going to take care of your baby as they saw me pregnant'. Still, in the end family is way more important than any review or promotion! I gladly walked away to be a stay-at-home mom and cried when I had to return to the workforce.

I work with lady who is in her 50s and she said this is best time for her to be single. She has already been married and her children are grown up, she said now there no pressure to find someone get married and have children because she has already done that.
She parties more than me when I was in my 20s, she actually seems super happy and hearing about her tinder dates is hilarious. There are so many older man out there with really good careers and failed marriages, she is always showing me photos of them they are actually not that bad looking.
Guess even when you hit around mid 50s still not alone if single

Theres a lot of women like this in major cities (& probably way more men too lol).
Honestly I say GOOD FOR THEM! If they don't want to have kids than great, theres enough ****ty parents out there raising fcukups. Why do we need to shame anyone for choosing to forgo child rearing? It is not for everyone.
My sister does not have 1 maternal bone in her body. She's 26, and the pressure my mother puts on her is crazy. I asked my mom could you imagine her raising a kid? Would she be the loving, doting mother most people wish to have. Probalay not so let her be in peace.
This thead is stupid. Personal choice is all that matters.

A lot of my kids friends parents had kids in their late theirties and early forties and it sucked. There is some that have had kids both young and old who have stated that the whole thing from pregnancy to raising the kids is way easier when you are younger.
