Rocks are actually squishy.

They just tense up when we touch them.

reality checks

check the time, look at your hands, look in the mirror, pinch yourself, use a light switch

etc

do these during the day often
so often you start doing them when u sleep

when you're sleeping something wil be wrong, time changes insanenly in seconds, more fingers, no pain, no self image in a mirror etc..

been a while since i had a lucid dream tho

Personally, I always try to run or throw punches in my dreams. For some reason I can never full out sprint and if I try to throw a punch, it feels like I'm underwater. So when I fail, its a sign for me that I'm dreaming. Then suddenly I start to gain a lot more control over my surroundings.

The teleporting is tricky, because it involves closing your eyes and sometimes when I open them back up I inadvertently wake up instead. It's a lot about "willing" where you want to go. Like telling yourself that when you open your eyes you'll be somewhere else. Gotta break down those thoughts that tell you it's impossible

My subconscious has a Mr. Charles that always presents a way out before the dream turns into a nightmare. In one dream when the chit about to go down being chased through a tunnel, I saw a ladder. If I climbed the ladder I'd wake up, if I kept going I'd stay in the dream. I climbed the ladder and woke up.

Other stuff like this happens regularly. It's not that my subsconcious isn't trying to give me nightmares, it's that something always intervenes and offers an alternative. Weird chit really.

As a kid I'd instinctively close my eyes whenever something scary was happening, which translated straight into my dreams. Whenever a nightmare was arising I'd close my eyes real tight and when I opened them I'd usually wake up. Fast forward a few years and I started being able to teleport back home (in my dream) whenever I did this because it's basically something I've always done. It wasn't until recently that I started teleporting to other places.

Meet my subconscious once, he was a red haired kid in a wheelchair. I'm not really sure why...

Did you ask questions? Like "Why are you in a wheeler chair?" or "What he thinks about an important decision you made?"

How do you know it was your subconscious?

Mostly it's just manifested in some sort of rescue item. Very few times has it been an actual person.

That's cool. I've never talked to anyone else who's able to do stuff like this.

At various times I won't wake up from a bad dream but in the dream I'll realize I'm dreaming and can change dream to fit my needs. If the nightmare involves a car chasing me (which has happened) I'll be given the ability to fly or to run at superhuman speed. One time I was being surrounded by creepy nutjobs and with a sweep of my hand they flew back like I was using the Force or something. It's the weirdest thing.

I should have asked why he was in a wheelchair but I asked him who he was and he straight up told me he was my subconscious. I just went with it. Fukin lolz that he showed me how to do this:

I couldn't get the hang of it at first, so he spent a lot of time telling me to just "feel" it happening. Afterwards he took me to a library that I assume was filled with shelves of memories, but as I tried to grab a book to read it, the people inside attacked me and I woke up. Haven't spoken to him since

That sounds really cool..

Ever have recurring dreams? or places? When I in my teens I had a dream where there was this office type room in the back of a stadium that had these shelving units in it; The room was clean and bright and somehow I felt those shelves contained something really meaningful but I thought "I'll come back later." And the people in the hallways of the stadium were friendly.

A couple years later I had the same dream, but the stadium was super crowded; the room was dusty, the door creaked, window was dirty, and the shelves hadn't been opened in a long time.

A year or two later I had it again, the room was locked and the only access was to open a tile in the ceiling, but the shelves were buried in piles of old books, papers all over the floor, and the windows were boarded up.

Last time I had the dream, the back of the stadium had collapsed, the place was almost deserted, and the people walked around in a daze and wouldn't talk to me.

I would have loved to see what was in those shelving units but never got the chance. Haven't had the dream in years.

Was skeptical at first, but math checks out.

The total shuffles is around 1e69ish (might have dropped a number or two) whereas the 1 per second people 'only' do something like 1e30ish total times shuffled.

I know exactly what you are you talking about. But the way I've dreamt of it, it's like having the exact same dream years apart. Like watching a movie you've already seen. It's familiar and you know how it's going to play out , but, sometimes the dream will last a little longer. Like getting a glimpse of the "extended cut" version.

And each time I have the dream, it starts over from the beginning. Each time getting a little longer.

It's so weird because it's like reliving a memory you never really had.

I lucid dream nearly every night, and am starting to have these, too. It's like you're watching a movie of an older dream.

The most reliable way to realize I'm dreaming for me is to look at a digital clock. I always glance at my phone in the dream, and when I can't read the time, that sets me free in the dream world.

The movie/flashbacks come when I often lucid dream about a neighborhood where I grew up, but with slight dream-logic changes, like where the video store I used to go to should be, there's this 24-hour ice cream shop. Often when traveling to these places I'll see a "video" flashback of when I've been there before in a dream, or sometimes memories of the real world location.

Teleporting never worked for me, for the reason you said - I have to close my eyes, and open them, which usually results in waking up. You should try flight, instead. I can fly in my dreams pretty much any time. What works for me is gaining awareness that I'm in a dream, and then consciously thinking to myself "this is just a dream and I'm in control". Kind of a Neo seeing the matrix moment. You can pretty easily fly as fast as you want (America to Europe in seconds) so I gave up on trying to teleport.

Doesn't Newton's first law basically make that impossible? If the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light and you're moving with it, the only way to "stop" would be by being acted upon by an equal and opposite force. So basically it's not as simple as just "stopping." You would need the same amount of energy to counteract the inertia. Even though you're not moving, you would be moving faster than the speed of lightrelative to the rest of the universe.

Think of it this way, you're on a train that's going 60mph. If you want to run that fast, it's not as simple as just "stopping" and watching the train go by at 60mph because you can't get off the train (just like you can't exit the universe). So your only option is to run down the train at 60mph, which is, for all intents and purposes, impossible. It would still take more energy than you possess to get yourself moving that fast.

we're already moving further away from other galaxies at a speed faster than the speed of light. whether or not you're part of a solar system or galaxy or just completely floating by yourself in space doesn't really matter, the "empty" space inbetween is expanding faster than the speed of light so everything is travelling faster than light in relation to some other point in the universe.
Yeah? because an actual dream is really just a few seconds in brain activity, despite it feeling longer in your dream.

So technically, you could be dead/dying and your whole existence is literally your life flashing before your eyes. Since when you die you have 7 minutes of brain activity left, which could be multiple lifetimes of dreaming.
It is true that the brain is capable of activity for some time after we die, as found by University of Michigan researchers. They performed a study into the after-effects of cardiac arrest on rats (due to the fact that approximately 20% of cardiac arrest survivors report experiences of some form of life review) and discovered high levels of activity. Many of the known electrical signatures of consciousness exceeded the levels found in the waking state, which supports the theory of the life review as it suggests that the brain is capable of organized activity during a near-death experience. However, this study was performed only on animals so as well as being unethical, it also can’t be definitively applied to human beings.

In a way, if you could remove yourself from that force acting upon you it would work- but you are right in all reality it would be more akin to a wormhole or a change in dimension.

Honestly man, i experience sleep paralysis, like once a week, my rem is really fukd up.

Anyway sometimes before or after it I can feel myself teleporting to another point of life or time 100% serious, like its not lucid, but its not a dream either, its just me going and seeing life through the eyes of another person. TBH Ive never been able to control lucid dreaming, and whenever i get close i just tried to get laid lol

also in my dreams never once have i been able to punch or hurt someone

another cool thing

alot of people have been constantly seeing the number 911, i know it sounds ****ing crazy but it happens with me, nearly everyday somewhere somehow ill see the number 911 and when you search the internet its happening to other people too

There is no way of knowing if you are the only sentient being or if other people are conscious too.

Numbers are infinite. That doesn't mean number 1 will eventually repeat itself.

After consuming a large amount of protein, i let out a fart that sent ripples trough space and time. Literally saw the fabric of universe bend and twist behind me.

Was ON Gold if you wondering.

I see Satan as a being that controls the physical world. Passing his tests gives one the stability to conquer the physical world. Within stability, chaos becomes your ally. Time becomes a luxury. A spiritual base is formed. Giving dominion over objects and time, instead of them owning you.
In the story of the Creation we read: ". . . And behold, it was very good." But, in the passage where Moses reproves Israel, the verse says: "See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil." Where did the evil come from? Evil too is good. It is the lowest rung of perfect goodness. If you do good deeds, even evil will become good; but if you sin, evil will really become evil.

I believe in polarity, chaos theory, non-duality. That all paths lead to a higher consciousness over time.

While most of the planet believes in a god or gods that created man via some sort of shared creation story, the show Ancient Aliens and even the movie series Aliens highlights the conceivable concept the god or gods we reference are simply highly sophisticated civilizations that populated the earth long ago.

Ancient civilizations on earth from Mexico to Egypt reference space crafts, and gods coming from the sky. In the Bible saints have halos around their heads, Jesus and Lazarus were thought to be dead, but rose from the dead. Jesus ascended into the sky, and the four horsemen of the Apocalypse arrive in chariots of Fire out of the sky. The Israelites had a box (Ark of the Covenant) that had the power to destroy armies and cities, and when they were lost in the desert food (mana) came
from the sky.

Within the idea of our civilizations being here because of genetic engineering or seeding via other advanced civilizations, that still visit or observe us, it can seemingly be seen and alluded to in all of he Abrahamic religions. Was it really god or gods, or simply advanced people?

As Star Wars says, a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away.

...think about it.

TBH Ive never been able to control lucid dreaming, and whenever i get close i just tried to get laid lol

also in my dream never once have i been able to punch or hurt someone
I've had sleep paralysis before. I know exactly what miscrs are talking about when they see "demons". I've experienced the same. I think of it as the state right between asleep and awake. Your mind is going but your body is asleep . The only time i go into it is when I'm sick, and I'm in bed, trying to sleep it away under medicine. You go in and out of sleep, drifting on the edge.

But that's also the best and most effective time to lucid sleep because you're trying to fight it. You're actively trying to stay awake. The real struggle comes from trying to acknowledge that you're actually asleep.

In all my dreams , I've never been able to throw a punch, always feels like I'm underwater. So much resistance. There's been times when i can control lucid dreams, other times it ends as soon as i get close.

[QUOTE=Techriding101;1483850291]Imagine you learned to lucid dream and learned how to fit a whole lifetime in one night of dreaming. At first you'd be doing all kinds of crazy chit. Sloots, battle dragons, be a wizard. Eventually you'd get bored of all this so you start to dream yourself a life where you don't know you are dreaming, because the unknown is more exciting. And now you are sitting on the toilet reading my post, wondering if life is just a made up dream and when you "die" you'll wake up to your normal boring life and have to go through another day of work before you can go dream out another lifetime[/QUOTTha

Thanks for fondling Alan Watts cock
