Anyone here ever looked into Crypto Arbitrage Trading? Is it already saturated? If it wasn't for the fact I most likely can't in my work contract, I'd be cranking open Python and giving it a bash.

Reading an article that is incredibly bullish on TSLA's earnings that come out May 2nd and anticipates Elon revising up this year's loss per share to $-1.63 from $-2.87 for 2017 AND next years earnings to aPOSITIVE$2.41 a share in profit. Those numbers seem unfathomable when taking into account the companies debt load(servicing), revenue, and past performance.
I am trying to decide if Musk is going to make the numbers work, or if tooling the factory will prove to be too expensive to hide. When Ford shifted its truck production to aluminum bodies they took something like a 2 billion dollar hit to change out their lines. People with TSLA positions or watching closely are you anticipating a big miss in May or do you think shares will spike post earnings? I think my plan is to start a position similar to Slamt's at the end of April and build it up through May/June. The market at large is due for a short/small correction anyway which could cut significantly into TSLA's market capitalization, but I think it is going to take some disappointing model 3 numbers to really shake the leaves outta the tree. I can see a huge spike on news/rumors of decent sales numbers of the model 3 and an epic tank when people see how little profit there is to be had selling electric cars. Perhaps I am wrong though.
Also I can't wait to see the stress lots of people having electric cars puts on our ancient power grids. I'd love to invest in a company that does the power grid chit. Meanwhile I am well positioned to cash in on low fuel prices thanks to lower demand and high truck volume
.
EDIT: Jun16 puts look legit. 235-230 strike aren't terribly expensive, and looking at the charts I think it could be reasonable to see a 30% pull back depending on sentiment and of course the market at large. If you look at the last 3 years usually a big peak and a big bottom are separated by 2 months. Just gotta nail the timing

You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told you're a god or a total bastard. The iron always kicks you the real deal. It's the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. I have found it to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. Amazon is a hoax invented by wallstreet to make retail appear non competitive.

Unlike ford the people that buy teslas can actually afford it.

For things like clothes I'll almost never go on Amazon, I'm too impatient to wait for shipping unless the Retail Deathstar w/ drones becomes a reality.Bullish retail. AM Action today looks kinda like Wednesday's action.
TSLA/AMZN ramping hard along with mkts after some shake out from previous days.
They used minutes and the last 2 hours to drop everything, Yellen on the mic here today at 1:00PM or something too.
TSLA dropped 10pts that afternoon after huge runup. just sayin
i am still long TLT and short TSLA
Inb4TSLA doubles in price.

Yellen on the mic after close, just lovely.
I closed out all my TLT calls here, bought some FCX calls.
Think bonds will see some weakness short term, but I still love the long term weekly look. Want a big pull to sweep up some calls lower.

After further analysis I think I've decided not to do it, I'm not fully committed. I really want to, and I think a lot of people keep on doubting this stock and they're wrong. I saw a couple threads here about this stock from a fear years ago or so and someone else though about dropping a bunch of money and damn near everyone talked chit, and now look. Seems like a chit ton of investors keep doubting it and they've been wrong BIG TIME.

Traded Tesla from 210 to 240 and felt invincible. Made some other positive trades on the NYSE and went on to lose half my money in OTC stocks lol.

i'd like to start investing for the longer term. where do you boyos suggest i start looking/reading? i can't put too much away at the moment, but i should be able to begin increasing it soon. i've no debts other than a mortgage, but would like to retire sooner than at the moment i'm on course to.
the guy above mentioned tesla which got me thinking about elon musk... in the sense that i've heard of him, know what he looks like and sort of what he has done. however, watched a couple of videos on the guy and his journey seems incredible - very noble. what a guy. not that i think tesla would be a good investment from what little i do know about stocks and shares. although if he was raising money for another company he was CEO of, it would definitely grab my attention.
thanks fellas.

Is there an etf that directly mirrors the price of oil?
(like GLD but for oil)
Is it USO or is there a better one?
