That car is sweet but there are definitely OEM configurations made for drag racing for the camaro and mustang as well. They suck, but they're out there.

Nothing about it stood out over an ss Camaro or even the RT challenger.

Yeah I would be surprised if it wasn't a fair bit quicker than a gtr or Amg 6.3 or turbo or whatever, they aren't near 870 hp. However, a Chiron or p1 or that Porsche/Ferrari hybrid on equivalent tyres?

Another shady part is that it only makes those numbers on 100+ octane race fuel. Using 93 octane pump fuel, it makes significantly less power. I'm not sure if other manufacturers are using special race tunes with higher octane fuels, or if their times use pump gas.

Just watched the vid.

Car sounds incredible and I'm really not into the challengers.

Those performance numbers are insane for a stock car. Vid mentions the front end will lift off in drag mode.

I hope people that buy these know how to handle that much power or your going to see a ton of these cars wreaked.

lol I have the V6 version too. Saved like 10k and 95% of people don't know the difference because it has the same body. Girls will literally say "omg you have the transformers car" or "is this the new mustang?".

Wish I would have gotten the v8 but I was a poor college student when I bought it (even the v6 was a reach) and now it's paid off so I'll probably run it into the ground.

Just saying I don't know if it's an apples to apples comparison to the other street cars it claims to be quicker than.

Not saying there's anything wrong with dodge providing a tune from the factory to run race fuel

What I wouldn't do for the SRT bruh

But lets be real tea.. on the highway, we're still bullying MOST cars and getting the lane we want even with the v6.

[QUOTE=jstn0127 post_id=1490768611]Perfect car for a FA.
I'd rather have the Trailhawk. Top speed of 180 mph and can knock out a 1/4 mile in 11.6 seconds

FCA wasn’t ready to discuss pricing at New York, but execs hinted at a price "well below six figures", which could mean somewhere in the $80,000 to $90,000 range.

Yeah I love this car so much my next will probably be the scat pack unless I determine I need a SUV/truck by then.

And yeah honestly I'm plenty happy with the v6. It's not v8 power, but it beats 90% of my friends' cars even though they talk chit on the v6. I'm always like "what do you drive again? and is it paid off?" stfu and let me enjoy my 300hp, which lets be real, is pretty fukin decent.
