Buying after the dividend is paid..... cos it's cheaper...... but you get in return..... wait for it...... less back. Cos no dividend.

I think I see a small flaw in your plan.

I would do it if I were the dentist and we had a contract, but I wouldn't do it if I were you. Way too much risk. You're starting off at a 5% disadvantage plus whatever fees are involved with trading.

Give me cliffs on why I can't buy at the bottom, let the stock rise, and hold until the next dividend if I am medium-term investing?

Yes. 100K for working 9-5 Monday to Friday

And if they work Saturday or Sunday, they get a ridiculous day rate on top of ordinary pay for amount of work done!

I think it's very unlikely I would lose money.

So even if it's a rough year, the maximum I would have to fork out from my own pocket is £1200 (5%)

Assuming I take home around £2500-3000 per month depending on the overtime I do, and invest 2K a month myself, I would only need to make 2.5% a year on 48K total invested.

And *IF* I have a goat year and make 12-20% like I back myself to, then I am looking at about £5000-£8000 commission for my efforts.

Also with the Lifetime ISA giving you £1 for every £4 you invest up to £4K, I can hedge my risk to only £200 instead of £1200 by opening a cash rather than stocks & shares LISA and leaving my government incentive of £1000 for the brah in worst case scenario

It's a lot easier to earn high returns when you don't have a lot of money in the market. The way OP trades, he has the luxury of buying or selling any stock pretty much instantly and without driving the price up or down. If you're Warren Buffett and have billions under management, you need to make big trades, but your market share is so great that it drives the price up on anything you want to buy or down on anything you want to sell, and rules out investing in small companies altogether. Additionally, he owns 400 million shares of Coke, but even if he decided he should sell his Coke holdings, there aren't 400 million people who want to buy Coke right now, so he couldn't pull out until it was too late. If you're OP, you have the advantage of watching the markets and changing your position exactly when and to the extent that it benefits you.

Lol no one cares if you hired a chauffer or took a first class flight. I bought a BMW outright at 22 and still regret it to this day but I don't constantly post pics of it besides the time someone called me out so I had to deliver with a spoon pic

It's nothing to brag about considering I know people who drive better cars and make more money and don't even brag about it. Maybe make a thread when you make your first milli.
