I experience this exact same problem in reverse, OP.

When I go to the weed spot, all the homies are doin elaborate fist pounds and hand signals, whilst greeting each other with things like "Ayo, whut's really hood, Jamal!??" "Whats crackalackalin, Tyrone, you keepin it real???"

But whenever I show up in my Prius to purchase a nickelsack from dredd, the brothers always offer me a solemn handshake and say "How are you today, Mr. Dink?"

It's very disappointing.

But I'm mentally tough, and I keep it togehter. I just shrug the whole thing off and keep movin. What else can ya do, right?

I've known these feels all of my life. Maybe it was the way to wrote combined with the way I interpreted your text that had me believing you're one of those white people who really can't stand black people but have that one friend to Appease themselves and others( like I said, who gives a **** really). I will say it's hard for a lot of black people to accept the truth from those of other races( especially white people) without feeling disrespected even if they know it to be mostly true.

I have a friend who constantly pushes the black agenda. Every time we hangout its usually at black populated clubs etc.


Once he tricked me into going to a movie without knowing what we're seeing. I was hoping it wasn't bull****.

i just try not to think about it. Only really happens if they don't really know me/total stranger and only sometimes. Doesn't really happen often enough to make anything out of it
