If you have problems with dairy products then just get a lactase supplement. Lactase is the enzyme your body needs to break down lactose.

I thought it was common knowledge that milk is bad for adults. animals stop drinking it after infancy, so it's not like we are any different (humans ARE animals).

then again, I enjoy a cold glass every now and then cuz it keeps me cooler than water on burning summer days. and it works wonders when you drink it after eating spicy peppers

Last I checked, other mammals don't have the means to drink milk after infancy. So they don't really have the option.

Every human has lactose intolerance to a degree. Could be wrong but I saw that somewhere. So that makes me think maybe we shouldn't be drinking it. But then others will say you develop the intolerance when you cut it out of your diet.

Same with peanuts. It's the most allergic food there is. Makes me think even if you don't have a problem with them is it really a good thing to be consuming?

lol no he's not. You're simply ignorant.

The only people that im aware of that have the genes necessary to produce the lactase enzyme into adult hood are people of northern european decent. The rest of the 6 billion people on the planet do not have this gene and aren't meant to digest cow milk. Goat milk doesn't have lactose and therefore fine to drink. It's also interesting to note that milk protein is strongly linked to cancer.

Yea, they also don't have fukking hands

If your cat could whip up a nice tuna souffle, I'm sure they would. Just because animals don't eat something doesn't mean we shouldn't.

Most people that are lactose intolerant don't realize it. Since in childhood you have the enzyme necessary to digest lactose most people think that as they get older the chitz they randomly get are coming from some other thing in the meal(s) they had. Have a few people drink 5-6 glasses of milk and see which ones go running to the bathroom after a couple hours.

I know plenty of dudes that laugh about a good meal that produces a good nasty chit. That's people for ya... they think nasty soft liquid chitz are a good thing...

they also lap it up when you give it to them. and in fact predatory mammals do drink milk after infancy. there's a reason why cats love milk, because cats evolved from main predatory mammals. when they hunt, they go after a herd. who's the slowest in the herd? heavily pregnant bitches, calves and their mums. what spills out when they rip those carcasses open? milk. it's like a complimentary side dish to their meat course and of course they drink it.

Humans are the only animals to drink another's milk. Brb moms feeding their baby formula and cow milk vs natural breast milk.

Ever considered that lactose intolerance is evolutions way of letting people know that longterm (past childhood) consumption of milk is bad for them?

If you're lucky to be northern european you are also from an evolutionary standpoint the most evolved of the human species. As you move out of europe into the middle east and africa the genetic markers get older and older.

I carry around pills for this. Although it does prevent stomach aches and diarrhea ... you can tell it's still not healthy (not something that should be done regularly) because it still generates poor stool.

Have you asked them if they have solid, lightly brown, and easy to pass stool?

I know people that take a daily diarrhea and think it is completely normal.

The truth is that if you drank breast milk as an adult you'd be a sick freak.

Drinking milk from an entirely different species is beyond ****ed up.

sarcasm aside, obviously alot of people lack the enzymes required to properly digest lactose, we quite literally are not designed to ingest milk.

not too mention its very high cal per serving, and the majority of american adults consume alot more calories than needed as is. As a baby high cal is needed as baby food is not as high in cals and the body is growing.
