I'll take going from 6'4 165 pounds to 6'5 240 in past 6 years, going from db benching 20 pound's to a 305 max, etc. and be content with it everytime.

I get smarter every single day, I will train smarter every single day, and will keep making progress every single day.

Welcome to the marathon, bitch.

Tbh if you can't sit in a proper 3rd world/slav squat ... just don't squat. You already ruined your mobility. But OP, cmon man, you don't know the first thing about sports biomechanics if you are denouncing squats.

See how toddlers squat? You should be able to squat like that with zero effort and sit in that positionand be able to maintain a position of rest.If you can't do that, you have compromised your mobility via sitting/inactiveness/simulated femoral retro or anteversion. Maybe you lost ankle dorsiflexion.

Either way, squats done by people with proper mobility don't stress your body. At all.

obsolete with the idea of hypertrophy in mind. I know you're not the best looking so i was hoping you'd atleast have the brains to back that up but I guess not.

In which case, they still are not. Keep diluting your rat brain with instagram "natties" thinking you can achieve impossible physiques.

Naturals need to do multi-joint exercises. If they don't want to take the time to address postural imbalances, and then complain how ****ty they are cause they snapped something then that's on them but doesn't mean they are useless. The compounds are king for all types of adaptations.

They are staples in all programs.

I think Dorian Yates stopped with the squats. If I recall correctly, he felt some people benefited more from it than he did (something like).

I personally think adjusting form with a consideration of body type, will yield different gains on the legs - wider stance vs narrower stance, or bar heights, grip, sumo vs regular etc

I also think some people, like 'bodybuilders', want to avoid hard exercises.

IMO, if you've gotten to the point where your squatting 500 and deadlifting 600, you've probably earned the right to discontinue for /reasons (medical aside).

I agree 100%, but after a certain weight is achieved your body just isn't meant to handle it. Why would I load 400lbs on my back when I want to target my quads and I could do 225lb hack squats and hit them harder? That is the point I want to get across not that these exercises are useless for people starting out

The problem is once you get near advanced-elite #'s, is when you need to start SERIOUSLY taking your periodization seriously while making sure you do tons of pre-hab work (stretching, foam rolling)..this can add another 20-30 minutes to a workout. Lots of people don't have the time/dedication to do that every single day.

So yes, realistic expectations should be met but people just don't understand how hard those big numbers are to achieve as a natural without seriously hammering away at the nutrition, sleep, hydration, stretching, and all the other bull**** which adds up to hitting those goals. It ain't easy.

With every program, you take the needs of the individual in mind. However, they all should be doing big compound movements ONCE you can ENSURE they have the technique down and are recruiting the correct neuromuscular patterns to avoid any injuries.

Squats are valuable, deadlifting is a useless ego lift.
The trouble with being punctual is that nobody's there to appreciate it.

The masses have made it that way, but it's still near the top of posterior chain work. It's vital for Hip extension where the body generates most of its forward force while running. The most power is generated from gluteus maximus contraction.

I am a fan of rack pulls instead, much safer. However, to say it is useless is idiotic. It works multiple muscle groups. The problem is not only are people **** at form, but people do not know how to teach it either and that is b/c they can't address simple ass postural problems in their clients.

Came in expecting a pussified manmore
Leaving satisfied

If you replace deadlift with reverse sissy squats on leg day and bent over rows on back day though you will get better posterior chain recruitment and 0 of the back pain
Hm.

If you're reading this, you're probably a *******

Yes, yes it can. Though I agree, results may be different, sometimes the principles holds to be universal - between natty or not.

Don't agree about squats to be honest. This is the GOAT exercise, period.

Dead lifts are too easy and do not correspond to size/ gains in my experience. Have happily dropped this.

After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."

You are coping, Son. Be a man and do it the other way around.

I agree 100% on deads. I've always found it ridiculously easy to add on weight with or without any extra mass.

Squats are the GOAT leg exercise tho.
