If I remember correctly it's based off of the average gym goer.

Shoulder issues. Took about a year off from shoulder presses and they feel great. Put on noticeable size only using raises. IMO a press isn't necessary to build the delts. So if your not training for a specific purpose they aren't worth doing if you have issues.

Was it a tear or what? Mine was nothing specific I can recall, but I had clear mobility/strength issues in my right shoulder. Glad to hear you're back to a solid foundation w/ it tho, scary stuff.

Probably could have done it after 3 years or so...

It is tough to get real numbers because no one really maxes their OHP.

If you are on a good routine it doesn't take that long to get the 300 BP if you do it right so you should be able to OHP 200 at the same time.

if you train correctly your OHP is usually 1-1 1/2 plates under your bench max, an easy way to make your ohp strong is by ohping...

205lb push press 185 ohp at 205lb

i honestly have no idea. it happened during a match against one of the best teams in our section and I won, so my adrenaline was super high. The next day at the tournament it hurt alot. As time went on I couldn't put any weight on it but still wrestled with it cuz im stupid. Pretty sure it was just a strain but it got worse overtime

i weighed 181-183lbs at the time, wasn’t a pretty rep though. I could ohp 60kg/132lbs for few reps first time I ever attempted it - so shoulders were always aite from the start

Sounds fair. I've heard some people say a 315 bench = 225 OHP and that's such BS. I've yet to see someone in person OHP 225, seen plenty of guys bench 315. The one guy in my gym benches 315 for reps and OHP's 165 for reps.
