maan going through the old videos, FUKKK this what it means to be a fukn rebel. force awakens and this movie, the rebels are unlikable. I can understand they are making two sides of the coins but they executed horribly. Look at the emotion where vader slaughtering the rebels, you feeel for them. almost every white guy on screen in TFA/TLJ is a villain or dying. felt like every white guy pilot was given the jobber treatment with no script and just a 2 second clip of them getting blown up lmao.

chit, even finn could be some kickass rebel with his training and knowledge but he's useless and constantly needs to be saved by women.

I overall liked it but I defiantly can see why many didn't. Its like they didn't have an outline for the trilogy and just let this director kind of do his own thing. Snoke who was suppose to be the ultimate baddy in this trilogy or we're led to think that. Now we're left knowing absolutely nothing about him. Reys parents being a huge mystery in TFA, we now find out are just a couple junker nobodies. With Snoke being dead and Kylo Ren being the bad guy. I feel like theirs no stakes anymore. I cant say im really looking forward to the third movie. Lukes story line was very disappointing and all his actions were just not very characteristic of him. The continuing SJW propaganda bs with all the woman leaders and evil white men is getting so old at this point. NOthing against the Asian actress but her character was completely pointless and so was the side plot involving her and Finn. Also im not buying for a 1 second there romance. I think Finn and Rey makes more sense and I thought for sure they would go in that direction instead of introducing more characters. Leia being sucked into space and flying back, I understand Star Wars isnt based on realism but that was honestly the silliest sequence I seen in a movie in a long time. Also why didnt the purple haired chick just tell Poe what her plan was. Then the whole side plot of Fin and tubby asian chick would have never needed to happen.

Some really good actions scenes. I though the Ben and Rey light saber battle was one of the best in the entire series. Beginning battle scene and Millennium falcon scenes were cool. I personally liked Yodas cameo. Most of the humor was hit or miss for me.

Such a terrible Star Wars movie TLJ was.

So apparently what happened was that they had a plan for the triology but then JJ asked to ignore them and do what he wanted for 7 so they wiped out all the legends stuff and made it non-canon so he could do whatever he wanted. Then he wrote episode 7 without anything for 8 or 9. So when Rian came in, he came in without any guidelines or **** because JJ didn't write anything past episode 7. He didn't write who rey's parents were, he didn't talk about snook.


Rian still ****ed up episode 8 imo but it's like working on a school project with that one dude who thinks everyones a moron and speeds through his part and by the time everyone else gets up to it, they don't know where to go or where the original guy is.

and the worse part about it is that it ****ed up Luke Skywalker in the end

This is supposed to be set in the future, you generally pick up an accent by being immersed the language around you. Small gripe but it just makes no sense, Finn is British and he doesn't speak with one, wonder why they left that out?

It's not about making a quality film. They will make money no matter what with the Star Wars name. Whether their film is good or bad, isn't important. What is important is that they get their propaganda across to the audience and further the agenda.

Even all these guys talk **** about it, and knew it was going to blow. guess what? They still spent money seeing it. And people even reading the ****ty reviews are still going to see it "for the experience". and you can bet all these dumb fuks will be running to the theater opening weekend for the next movie as well. Which will also suck, and then they will complain that it sucked too. Same thing happens every year when the new star wars movie comes out.

if you actually like star wars, stick to the old movies, the expanded universe, or knights of the old republic. but that isn't whats hot/trendy right now so they wont. they are just seeing the movie they want to fit in. If the theaters were half full and had no buzz they wouldn't be there.

IDK. I am sick of black ppl only being cast in garbage roles too. The only black guys who ever get decent roles now are SLJ, Morgan Freeman, and Denzel. Even then it's in action/comedy most of the time.

I remember Captain Sisko from Star Trek DS9. Outside of a few episodes, the fact that he was black had dick to do with the role. It didn't even register that he was black. That's what a future without racism looks like.

Do you even know what you're talking about? Lucas didn't even believe the old legends was ever canon and has stated it multiple times. Nothing would've changed if Lucas was on-board. Most of that stuff was crap anyway

If i remember my research correct it goes Blacks (fairly well represented now days bust still slightly disproportion vs population %) - Hispanics (half as many as blacks) - Asians (no east asian actor/actress has ever been nominated for an academy award).
