If the tour's over I'm alright with it. Still up a lot from my initial buy in and it was a fun ride lamo. I think we'll recover but I'm probably gonna step away until then. Time to actually lift and have a social life again maybe.

But you could see a good rise off of ETH right now if you are looking to swing trade. Do you have any concern about the effect of BTC breaking 9 could have on ETH and the market as a whole though? Last time BTC broke a big even, 10k, everything tanked hard, including ETH

Not anymore. Yesterday's break on eth support should have dropped it 8% with the rest of the market, but it didn't follow through at all. It just kind of sat there idle. I think once eth cements #1, we'll see a big move up in alts because everyone can move on from btc into greener pastures. I'm actually surprised how much the ppl itt still consider btc for buying right now.

Watching like the inverse move of btc and eth prices.. its like the bots have flipped a switch and while btc goes diwn eth goes up. As soon as btc goes up or recovers a sec eth goes down a little.

Watched it for 2 hrs, prompted me to sell everything into eth. If eth flips btc i reckon we're in for 1 hell of a mooning. Noone ever talks down eth due to its business potential + EEA members. Im more excited at waving goodbye to bs bitcoin drama

Yep. Eth hitting #1 will eliminate a lot of fud. Bitcoin is still the headline on all media, I can't wait for that to end.

People irl still ask me "how's bitcoin doing"..... I'm like.... Not sure. Lol.

Why does everyone only mention the impact it could have on BTC when they talk about the Tether issue? I see there's a Tether/ETH pairing as well...has lots of ETH not been purchased with Tether?

BTC needs to hit $6566 and ETH needs to retain it's value for them to reach parity. Might happen over the next week, doubt it'll happen overnight though.

did you rebuy nano on that dip?

I'm lying in my bed last night about to sleep and want to check kucoin, and literally watch it 30 seconds before it makes a massive drop and hits the buy order which I've placed yesterday before the mooning

I have a ton of buy orders sitting below 1k for ETH but just not sure if it'll ever get there again, and I badly want more ETH. Then again, when BTC breaks 9k, panic could ensue like it did when it broke 10k and we might see ETH take another hit, not sure how independent it is at this point although it's looking strong as fawk as BTC bounces around 10k.

I just noticed a buy order I had for $150 hit, have another at $100. Anybody's guess if Charlie's "big news in 2018" will deliver LTC back to ATH but I'd find it hard to believe LTC doesn't get back to $200 unless we continue in a bear market for many more months or years.
I don't know why everyone is so blah on LTC. It'll be the backbone for not only crypto payments but fiat electronic payments, will be another platform for DAPPs, partnership with XMR, at the forefront of atomic swaps, in addition to be one of many payment methods on big name merchants, etc...

Don't buy just yet, wait until the market stabilizes and small gains are made. There are probably many opinions on this, but imo it's pointless buying during the dip, because it might sink a lot lower. Better to not make 0,5% than lose 10%.
