That’s not a thing, that’s simply comes across as religious pomposity ....or maybe I don’t get how you feel that is doing good

Well religion says that God has no beginning, he always was. Even the universe had a beginning - so when you reach that layer; the debate turns into a stalemate or self-proclaimed victory.

Now I kind of bench myself but sometimes point out immature assumptions or fallacies. I use a term I heard from a TV personality - I'd describe myself as "cheerfully agnostic".

I suppose humans would evaluate it as chance. I.E. - God makes man, man exhibits a chance at becoming sinful. But in the end God would still have total control and just chooses to act or not act.
I would ask, where is the starting point of a sphere?

What is the side of a circle?

According to the "fundamental rules" of Euclidean geometry, the rule is that all triangles are 180 degrees.

But what if you drew a triangle on a sphere? It could be 270 degrees. It doesn't fit the rule - it is it's own set of geometry, with it's own set of parameters .

I would expect the one who created all this to be above the parameters of the natural world.

Even gravity and time have different parameters the further out you go in space.

I'm not sure the answer you're looking for. You would naturally try to emulate someone you look up to or worship. I can try to emulate Christ, but that's it. You may only try. You will never fully succeed in emulating the embodiment of God. He knows that, we know that. So I pray for his mercy and forgiveness.

I don’t see how that answers the question.. what does living as a good person mean?
How do you benefit the people in your life, in your community?

Some people believe in some powerful force, and some believe in something else entirely, but not everyone believes there is something supernatural out there.

I think there could be, I just wouldn't bet money on it.

I really doubt Nazis were Christian. More like they hijacked the religion to sway the masses for their own benefit. No Christian is gassing millions of people. That disqualifys you from the religion.

Obviously I can't answer for Vito, for I will answer for myself.

I'm an airline pilot who makes a very decent living and who has time on his hands. I give back to the community in terms of charitable monetary donations, by donating time and helping at the local food bank, by raising 3 children, by organizing community events for both the adults and children in my community. I will, from time to time, fly in my own airplane and on my own dime, less fortunate people who need to travel to see loved ones who are in hospital or even in prison out of town. My main focus is obviously on my kids but I feel it's important to give back to the community that in part raised me.

can you explain the tools used to explain the Big Bang theory or do you just have faith those who taught you wer correct? If you could explain the Big Bang to me in a language a basic simpleton man like me could understand that would be great, but I don't have enough faith to believe everything came from something as small as an atom

not really if you think gassing a million will save 10 million. or if someone just tells you to push a button and drop a bomb. ethics can get confusing pretty quickly my durd, with the hypotheticals

hypothetically a guy gassing some of the prisoners in a camp have his own way of rationalizing his patriotic duties. he still may believe that he is a christian, and moreover, he has an infinite amount of times to repent and be forgiven etc etc.

eh? Nazi's committed many affronts to the church after coming to power. Many high ranking Hitler appointed officials detested religion, calling in irreconcilable with Nazism. However there was also the opposite , I'll give you.

Take the value system of Christianity and that of Nazism, how much congruence really do they have with each other? Very little. This is why I conclude that Hitler used religion as a populist tool, and in an era where religion had far more sway, otherwise you wouldn't find such differing actions and perceptions towards religion by Nazis. They even used pagan symbols in their propoganda and appointed pro-pagan officials. In layman's terms, Hitler was a world class bullshietter

So you guys and girls agree it would be hard to explain the love one has for a child to someone that doesn't have children, so then would you agree it would also be hard to explain God love to someone who has never had a relationship with God.

Which? I'm ok with killing for survival. Don't think that's what the Nazis were doing. If the natives had killed all the people trying to steal their land I'd be okay with that. Native Americans should have built a wall.
