type 1 diabetic crew.....Keto almost completely eliminates blood sugar fluctuations whereas even a moderate carb diet (that's strictly monitored) will have me getting random spikes requiring much more insulin. When I'm keto (usually part of the year), I drastically decrease the amount of insulin I need to take.

Having a healthy blood sugar level that is sustained without effort is healthier than the alternative.

Last total cholesterol was 185

Maybe just try to consider that some things work better for certain people

I can certainly see how doing keto for diabetes would be beneficial via regulating blood sugar levels like you said. Btw your cholesterol of 185 advances atherosclerosis (arterial hardening leading to stroke or heart attack), albeit at a slower pace than most peoples cholesterol (200+). Only total cholesterol under 150 protects from atherosclerosis.

I would also add that diets high in animal products are more likely to cause type 2 diabetes
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3942738/

conclusions:
"Meat consumption is consistently associated with diabetes risk. Dietary habits are readily modifiable, but individuals and clinicians will consider dietary changes only if they are aware of the potential benefits of doing so"

Ditto. So first meal is actually my dinner which is a better eating protocol: start heavy and gradually wind down. Will eat breakfast foods, aka oatmeal as last meal.

Dietary cholesterol and cardiovascular disease: a systematic review and meta-analysis

https://academic.oup.com/ajcn/article/102/2/276/4564504

Your sources were most likely included in the meta-analysis, btw. The scientific consensus is that they are all so scattered and not directly reviewing CVD that they're useless.
ahahahaha. WHAT. Now you're arguing that high serum cholesterol doesn't even cause heart disease? Ahahahaha. I see your meta analysis of 40 studies and raise you a meta analysis of 200 cohort studies with a total sample size of 2 MILLION people compiled and analyzed by the European Heart Journal
https://academic.oup.com/eurheartj/a...2/2459/3745109

"Separate meta-analyses of over 200 prospective cohort studies, Mendelian randomization studies, and randomized trials including more than 2 million participants with over 20 million person-years of follow-up and over 150 000 cardiovascular events demonstrate a remarkably consistent dose-dependent log-linear association between the absolute magnitude of exposure of the vasculature to LDL-C and the risk of ASCVD;"

"Consistent evidence from numerous and multiple different types of clinical and genetic studies unequivocally establishes that LDL causes ASCVD."

This was published last year by the world's foremost experts on vascular disease. What in the actual fuk are you talking about? The lipid hypothesis is the scientific consensus on the topic.

I gotcha bruh. Fresh "vagine" with side of "bobs" is the real all American breakfast (and dinner, lunch, afternoon delight, etc.). There's nothing that will start you day right better than waking up to that.

Unless you're an incel, then you just drink your chit smoothie and cry in the shower.

When I'm dieting I'll drop out the yolks but that's not very often.

Notice that your source was about LDL and mine was about Dietary cholesterol.... very different.

Also, posts a source saying LDL causes CVD... no chit. But serum cholesterol =/= LDL, which is exactly why I said serum cholesterol =/= CVD.

Yes, high LDL correlates to disease, but as my first source points out, a high cholesterol diet only increased LDL by 6.7 mg/dL, which is only about a 5-10% increase for most healthy Americans.

Get your chit straight, the truth is that your diet hardly affects your LDL which is the only component of your total blood cholesterol that has any significant correlation to CVD. That said, I stand by pointing out that your first post ITT is retarded. Eating eggs and bacon isn't what gives you hard disease....dear lord it's like we're back in the 1970's and the HHS are telling us how bad fat is, only to see fat intake drop at the same time cardiovascular health in America ****ing plummets.

More power to you, I could never do it.

I would be in a mood all day and divorced by week end.

I had my first smoothie this morning, however I made the small size instead of the large and decided I was still hungry.

Got a bacon egg and cheese on the way in.

Will have to do better.
