Mine washes all the dishes by hand. Takes like 1/10th of the time, everything is clean, and their are never dishes in the sink.
I had to go over the right way to replace a toilet paper roll though. Annoying when you take a morning **** and the TP is all ****ed up.

-Drop some olive oil in when boiling pasta, no need for wooden spoon
It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living. . . Our lives are, in reality, the sum total of our seemingly unimportant decisions and of our capacity to live by those decisions. ― Gordon B. Hinckley

Rinsing dishes + loading them into the dishwasher takes more time than simply washing by hand. Way more time if you account for the actual dishwasher run time.
I use my dishwasher as a place to store rarely used dishes and cooking stuff.

before i found this out, i was boiling water and cooking inside a large saucepan. saves me probably 10min each time. less chit to wash, no waiting for boiling water on the stove.

awesome life hacks (both ethical and unethical):
-If you work at a large corporation that has free paper plates/plasticware, grab a ton and take home at end of week. use instead of dishes for normal meals. save both a chit ton of time and money from doing dishes.
-Seperate laundry basket for whites vs non whites
-If own a house, close all rooms you don't use during winter/summer and shut vents off. save money on heat/cooling.
-buy frozen berries/fruits and thaw them instead of fresh veggies/fruits. 2 lb bag of blueberries from costco - 10 dollars. small container of fresh blueberries (like 6 ounches) = 5 dollars
-Crock pot. throw random **** before you leave. come back. done.

How to never forget to do something. Leave an object in an obscure place until you take care of the task. For example if I need to remember to pay rent and deliver my check to the landlord I'll leave something weird like a crumpled piece of paper the night before in front of my door so I don't leave my apartment without the check. You see the object where it shouldn't be and it will trigger your memory. Works like a charm.

Saves a few bucks too if youre on a budget and does the exact same job
Just learned that one recently on some stupid ass FB video. But it works cause I lost my steamer when I moved in with the wife.
Title, or vice versa.
What were some household tips or tricks that your SO didn't know about that they taught you when you lived together, or vice versa?
Some my wife didn't know:

> my wife had no idea that if you close the shower curtain after showering, it will dry and never get moldy. She just thought that was life and bought a new shower curtain every 6-12 months
> flip your pillowcase inside out, put your hands in it at the corners and hold onto the pillow, and reverse the pillowcase onto the pillow. >>> stuffing your pillow In a pillow case
> putting a wooden spoon over boiling water helps prevent boiling over.
> If you rinse your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher, they always come out 100% clean and you never have to clean the dishwasher (lol @ not knowing that)
One I didn't know:
>brb never thought to stack the same Tupperware inside each other. Always put a lid on every single one of them till I saw my wife do it like this:
[img]https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQxp2zWXN-j-2CLFFEMwrgdpxCt_WDf63wBhV82RoaPkXHhjCND[img]
Instead of this:mg]
This must be a women thing. Our dishwasher was starting to not clean very well, but almost everytime I did it (i rinse everything before I put them in) it would come out pretty good. Wife also never knew about the shower 'trick', but I thought it was common sense.

I can confirm, I also am pile of clean cloths laying somewhere until someone folds it. I don't mind doing any other household things but folding laundry is 0/10 for me.
