Larry's strength has exploded over the past 2 years. I knew this was the vid when I saw the tread title. He has mentioned a few times he plans on trying strongman in a few years after his body matures.

What does this mean exactly, and what is the benefit to a body maturing?

I would definitely agree his genetics are at the top of the chain, but gym strength is completely different from strongman strength. Not at all saying he can't do it, but he won't be able to just jump in and compete for the top year one or two.

Genetics + work ethic + juice makes for one hell of a display of power.
I had just watched the vid before I saw this thread and knew it was about LW before I even checked.
As far as elite strong man potential, think the black Mariusz Pudzianowski. Not the tallest and unusually shredded for strongman but still dominant.

Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.

In comparison to this OHP, Eddie did a 216kg world record overhead with an axel but that's with leg drive. Larry would probably struggle with the clean aspect right now but pushing it overhead he can't be far off

Here's Eddie (the strongest strongman in terms of big 3 lifts) hitting 575 for 2, albeit with sloppy form and he probably had more in the tank
