LISS works fine, you were just too fat to start off

I only ever do fast walking for cardio, either incline treadmill or walking the puppers.

Psmf wouldnt help at this point tbh

not sure why people are anti-LISS here. I mean, these are miscers we're talking about: we're all wasting all of our time rotting anyway. instead of sitting at a computer hoping your cut works, why not get off your ass and go outside?

my plan has been the same from the beginning: eat less and move more until it stops working and then eat even less and move even more and keep doing it. it's inescapable math

i've never done a srs cut before and i've learned a lot. if i had been doing what i'm doing now the whole time, i would definitely be done by now. the cool thing is that i'm going to record exactly what i'm doing now for the future (although i'll never get really fat again...fukk that). i'll probably do a minicut once a month or something if i ever get some flab

I would ditch the cardio and just lift as heavy as you can. As far as I've heard from experiences, that helps retain muscle the most.

It's not an anti-LISS thing. It's a favoring LISS over lifting thing. LISS has been mentioned on almost every page. Haven't seen a thing about lifting other than mentioning you do it a couple times a week at low volume. Already been mentioned and ignored but a solid lifting session gives the same cardiovascular benefits of some LISS and will be more conducive to your goal.

You've already said why you don't and beating a dead horse, but those reasons are a result of worrying more about being able to misc than doing things right. All good if that's what you want to do but gonna catch a little flak for it is all.

You don't need to be burning 500kcals a day from lifting or LISS. That's your decision because of your rushed timeline.

even on a different timeline I would want this to go as fast as possible. every future day of cutting in my life will be just like this. if you can force it to go faster, why not?

Awesome, keep going. The fact you have surpassed your original expectations (minus the abs) is really good. Cuts are always hard, much harder than people think they are and is why you dont see that many people walking around with low bf.

Once you get your bf down it will be much easier to build muscle when you start bulking again.

Didn't you say you get light-headed, can't function if you lift longer/harder without adding more carbs back into your diet? There's reason enough right there.

You have any studies on LISS vs HIIT? I've always found HIIT to be better at getting the initial fat loss started but I could be wrong

yes, so why would i lift more and then have to eat more when i can lift less, eat less and walk more without that happening? why do i want to increase my gluconeogenesis requirement during an already brutal cut?

Is your goal to just to be frail and thin? If not, you want to lift more. Pretty easy one.

why wouldn't i do the bare minimum lifting to not lose muscle instead of doing a ton of lifting which is not going to result in any muscle gain anyway and only undermine the cut by depleting glycogen instead of fat?

It's all pretty irrelevant cos your weight loss is always going to be a product of your caloric deficit. How you achieve that deficit is pretty much irrelevant.

For someone who quotes so much science and talks about glycogen depletion and other stuff that doesn't matter, you should know that there are plenty of physical adaptions that occur from lifting, not simply muscle gain and loss. Anyways, back to work.

Lifting also increases residual cals burned

Gotta repair dem dere muscles for like 48 hours after a workout.

That energy doesn't come outta nowhere...

And it certainly doesn't restrict itself to glycogen when you're in a deficit.

BRB burning fat while you sleep
BRB giving your body more reasons to keep muscle, which has a huge energy demand...

BRB stuff about biochemistry... but I forgot everything I learned in BB 451+452... and I don't care enough to look it up and make a stronger argument

Everything still going smoothly bruh?

Did my 45 minutes of walking today. Weighed in yesterday at 190.2, down from 205 in mid October. Das it.

Feels like I'm a noob again in regards to weight increases with lifting. Lol when I got back into it I was DB Inclining 45s for 3 sets of 5....8 weeks later back up to 80's for sets of 5...muscle memory is legit apparently.

All other lifts going up at the same rate. For losing 15 pounds I'm not gonna complain at all.
