Taking into account everything i listed in the OP, how do you expect to solve your problems(no b/f or companion). You're making it next to impossible, especially when you consider everything you added to the list.

How old are you?

As women age they have to put forth a really good 'sell' in order to attract a decent man who isn't desperate. A good looking successful man with $$$ and freedom isn't gonna just give that up on a lazy woman in her 40s who wallows in loneliness when there's grade A 22-25 year olds out there.

What would you say you bring to the table in terms of a relationship? What do you have to offer?

I do understand that not wanting to socialize part. I went out with my old coworkers maybe over a year ago. So it was supposed to be in a bar next to my house (I thought great I can just make an excuse and leave whenever) but they decided to go to a location where I had to depend on someone giving me a ride. It was awful and the whole time I was just waiting to go home. Never again. Why do something you don't enjoy? And then you feel bad because you wasted all that time.

I am close in age to SS, I used to be way more social that I am now, used to read a ton and don't as much anymore, definitely don't swallow but missionary only would kill me. I guess I have never been FA, but I get the lifestyle.

Oh and I do have a partner, who is mid 40's and checks all my boxes of companionship and loyalty and sex and is female so I have no issues with life.

You've misunderstood me.

I actually pointed out how people bond with each other, I have not advocated a transactional relationship. Please re-read my post.

Happy couples; laugh together, watch TV and films together, talk about topics together (a documentary, 'thought experiments', film, TV series, philosophical questions, etc), etc.

Couples lives are always filled with stories (in the early years at least) of them spending time, bonding together, and they often have 'inside jokes'.

You offer no mutual joking, no discussions, no cooking for each other (eg. one person is ill in bed, and the other person cooks and helps them out), etc.

Physically being together doesn't create the kind of bonds that create happy LTRs IMO, which is what you seem to want.

People often need to share experiences, and values, in order to bond strongly (IMO and IME).

Sex and physical proximity is nothing more than a FWB (IMO), any guy can find that with any woman... It doesn't require any deep bonding, shared experiences, etc. It's interchangeable.

What isn't interchangeable is the life you build with someone, the share experiences you build with someone, the 'inside language/jokes', sharing thoughts with one another, etc. That's not interchaneable, that's built over time.

You seem to offer something that is easily found (and, to be honest, can be brought. ie. the girlfriend experience, or trophy wives).

That's the paradox. SS is happy because she doesn't buy into the recent need to live some crazy cool lifestyle. It's an old school mentality, and how people used to think. Most people today are chasing some fantasy goal that you only see in the Movies/TV. Social media has only made it worse.

22-25 year olds do not want dudes in their 40’s. We really don’t even want dudes in their 30’s for the most part.

Misc is delusional per usual.

This notion that there are no men dating women their own age is frankly rather retarded and could be easily disproved by walking outside.

If she wanted men her own age she would be fine. And if she’s good looking she can get away with younger too.

Because she's convinced herself that she'll only be happy when some perfect person comes into her life. That way she doesn't have to change her behavior, someone else can solve the problem for her. Long-term sustainability, not even once.

She wants to find someone she clicks with naturally without having to audition for relationships like parts in a movie. Not a hard concept to grasp. Its a difficult thing to achieve and if you aren't a social person you're gonna need some luck but it's not impossible.

Maybe not as many men in their 40s but successful men in their 30s can literally stumble blindfolded into young women and do very well.

However, I think you're missing the point. If she's literally offering nothing other than "companionship" - then a man who also wants "companionship" can get that same company from a younger tighter body. Companionship basically means no real connection or bond, just another human to sit around with.
