The fact is that gangsta rap was brought to the forefront of the music industry in the early 90s. You all forget how uplifting and thoughtful songs from The Fugees, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, etc. were and go straight to gangsta rap as a reflection of all hip-hop. It is intellectually dishonest TBH.

How so?
And crime itself can be boiled down to desperation. If we're talking about the kinds of crime rappers have been known to rap about. The way i see it is if you have a good standard of education (which public schools in poor areas don't) youre not engaged, youre not learning and thus enter into a never ending cycle of poverty, failure & crime.

Rap does not cause crime or gun violence. There's also lots of different styles of rap, and not all are bad.

Of course it would be better, rap music is, on the whole, lowlife degenerate garbage music.
And please don't even try to make this argument against rap if you're a fan of heavy metal music. Heavy metal is total incel, autist music and you have to be at best a socially inept nerd or at worst a psycopath to actually enjoy that shyt.

It encourages degenerate behavior so I agree to some extent. It's mostly because people can't handle it though and are easily influenced. It's hard to blame something as simple as music itself. You could very well make a similar argument that television has been just as destructive to the Western World encouraging similar behaviors.
Even without either of these people are so naive I'm sure there would have been something else that influenced terrible behaviors all the same. So honestly just don't be a f*cking retard yourself and stop worrying about everyone else. Everyone else is stupid as f*ck for the most part and will always disappoint with their behavior at the end of the day.

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

The world would be 1000% better without rap music srs. But it is only the product of a bigger issue. The glorification of being a piece of chit in urban communities. And liberals just make excuses for them

I don't necessarily think rap is the entire problem. Allowing kids to be immersed in violence (video games, music, movies, TV shows, etc.) definitely desensitizes and hardens them. And if they don't have someone teaching them morals/ethics/ how to act in civilized society. They don't really stand a chance.

Rap as a genre hasn't changed it's obsession with violent criminality, since the mid 90s. Things arguably have gotten worse.
IMO even gansta rappers in the mid 90s made sure their lyricism was on point (eg. Biggie, Big Pun, etc). Nowadays... IMO 13 year olds could write on the the same level.

How has no one mentioned that violent crime as a whole in the US has been going down? Of course you will believe the world is degenerate if you look for evidence to support your cognitive bias.
