I'm not a bigfoot CTer, but it's totally possible for a species to evade our eye for many years.

Unless you believe that we will no longer discover ANY new species for the rest of human history, I think it's gullible to assume cctv cameras would have captured everything. They don't even capture alot of crime taking place in densely surveilled areas.

The new species discovered are mostly insects and bacteria in the remote jungle, not 10' tall upright apes in the most developed areas of the planet.

People die in those areas 100s of miles away from the nearest human every year. People really underestimate how undeveloped the Midwest really is

Gonna clarify I’m not giving fukn Bigfoot merit here but with that much space it’s perfectly plausible for such a species to exist without any consistent sightings considering how vast predatory animals territories are at the size of a bear so 10-12 ft of height means very mobile and very widespread

1000's of miles? In the central US it is 1900 miles to either ocean. So surely you're less than 1000 miles from another human at all times when in the US Midwest.

If bigfeet exists and have been sighted all over the country they either:

1) have a large breeding population that spans the entire CONUS, meaning they'd have come into contact with humans pretty regularly.
2) have a smaller, migratory breeding population, which traverses the entire CONUS, meaning they'd come into contact with humans regularly.

There really is no way around this.

Um just because you say those are the only two options doesn’t make them true you Fukn ingrate lmao. Just about every solitary apex predatory species can’t have a large population due to competitiveness over food sources and mating and aren’t migratory. No one said they are living in NYC mate plenty possible that they’re just isolated to the Rockies and have a low population due to their size

Plenty of animals get sighted outside of where they’re supposed to be as well it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a pack of polar bears in the northern U.S. just because they’ve been sighted there
