I work at a very open and extroverted company, and at social events nothing surprises me these days. However, I wouldn't be talking about group sex at a work event when VPs are present. That's not my thing. Also he's not very marriage material, if that makes sense. And I don't want to date work people, too much drama.
Yeah talking about sex at work is bad and you could technically report his ass for sexual harassment but you ain't gonna do it because you're in love

"no hookups" almost always means sex on the first date.
Also, women I didn't meet online but I know?
The one's who preach about how they are such "good girls" and would never do such a thing usually end up being the one's who spend the night after a party.
in my bed.
then continue to preach how they aren't sloots in front of me and I just pretend we didn't bang multiple times and didn't talk for weeks after.

Well I wasn't offended and we already have enough drama with "harassment" chit. I've heard wayyy worse than some old geezer talking about 2 girls at one time.

That don't make no sense. You like sex right? So how can you be turned off by someone talking about sex? Only way would be if you were not attracted to him.

That said, I understand that you want someone you're attracted to, but your problem seems to be that you don't want to make any room for compromise, which is bizarre considering your situation. You have a physical type and age range, and you don't want to deviate from it at all. It's the equivalent of a man in his forties refusing to budge from his standard physical preference for twenty-something petite blondes, no matter how unrealistic. Have you thought about trying for men in their late thirties early forties? I seriously doubt they're all out of shape or unattractive.

Like at Hooter's, I made a "That's what she said" joke to one of the waitresses after she said "It's pretty big" and she just laughed.
And bragging about your sex life to everyone in general is dumb.

I dont think 40 yr old men are comparable to 25 yr olds obviously.

Not saying that there's anything wrong with that, but it is what it is. You're into young Justin Bieber for fuk's sake, who looked very young even for his age. It doesn't mean that you can't be attracted to an older good looking guy, but it's definitely not your preference. No my standards aren’t set by age. Just physical attraction in general. My only standards are:
1) physical attraction (subjective)
2) normal/nice personality (doesn’t have to be a saint but just no MAJOR issues like personality disorders or abusive or addictions etc)
In practice that ends up being younger guys. But if I met an older guy I was attracted to I would actually prefer that because then a srs relationship would be much more realistic.
And I have gone out with guys in their thirties and forties. Oldest was around 50 I think. Also my ex was older than me and is in his 50’s now. And I’m sure I’d still be attracted to him if we had stayed together. So theoretically it’s possible.

And pretty much all 40+ year old men like 23 year old girls too. It’s the exact same thing. Just more socially accepted.

Man this thread is sometimes amusing but yikes. I'm pretty sure DanielleGreen lives in my city, and if she can't find a fit 40-something guy here that is 100% her fault. We're one of the healthiest states and the least obese in the entire country. It's the default expectation here that people here are active and fit. SilenceSpeaks is also very clearly insane, the entire time I've seen her on the misc she seems to post the same exact same scenarios and never learns from them once.
Women talking about how they are all nice and do small little things like Lucifer mentions are also delusional. I don't know why anyone here would listen to anything the women say, they function on such a fundamentally different wavelength than us. They'll never listen to our advice and their advice to us is useless, because they lack the introspection to realize what they actually like. Modern American women do not do cute little things for their boyfriends nowadays. Or the older married dudes who say their wives do it, congrats, but this isn't 2008. I've been on dates with at least a hundred women in the past 5 years and it is only when I backpacked in Asia that I noticed women actually do these nice, caring things for guys. I was in bed with a hangover and this random girl cooked me soup---I think the last thing a Western girl cooked for me was a freezerburnt grocery store pizza for both of us. Women here see dudes talking about these nice things and delude themselves by going "I do that too!' You don't. Lucifer isn't talking about doing the dishes after yourself, but the concept of doing these little shows of caring is such a foreign concept to you you can't even comprehend it. I've done simple chit with women I date like cook for them, give them scalp massages while laying on the couch together, etc. and they do nothing back. They're passive recipients of affection, and I eventually learned how useless it was to offer them things like that.
Stop making up qualities about the type of person you are and try to objectively analyze yourself for once. If you were the type of women you pretend to be you would not be single, that simple. But like I said earlier, this is useless advice to give and they won't listen. SilenceSpeaks is gonna keep it up well into her 60s I imagine. I don't believe for a second the way most women in this thread portray themselves---not because normal, caring women exist, it just seems very obvious they aren't them.

Also being from the south, most girls are pretty "wifey" towards their SO's. Out in other places it's kinda hard to find that, so I see why Lucy is a bit taken back at it.

Nice people do nice things for people they care about, I am even more baffled than before that this is a foreign concept to many.

With that said I have friends and family on the West Coast and they are fine people as well. Maybe it is just our family values at work on that one and we churn out good people. I would have been super skeptical of dating a girl who didn't have a quality family that she'd was close with.

Her just showing up is not good enough.Man this thread is sometimes amusing but yikes.
They'll never listen to our advice and their advice to us is useless, because they lack the introspection to realize what they actually like.Modern American women do not do cute little things for their boyfriends nowadays.

I date purely on a reward system. If she makes an effort, then I will make an effort. If she doesn't, then next. Obviously as the man, you have to get the ball rolling, but she should be the one keeping it rolling.

It’s also cute you talk about all those high quality single women you know, since you can so obviously determine their dateability based off their professional facade. You more or less can find this exact post on here 10 years ago. The "westernized women" boogeyman has been a long time favorite of those that wish to externalize their shortcomings and place blame on others to make themselves feel better. Or, you are just into crazy and disregard the normal/nice ones before they even get a chance.
Nice people do nice things for people they care about, I am even more baffled than before that this is a foreign concept to many.

You people talking about the South—-I lived in South Carolina for ten years, the niceness down there is not the same as being affectionate or “subservient”, and those nice people are often hell behind closed doors. Honestly can barely think of any relationships of anyone I knew down there that weren’t toxic beneath the surface. Almost all of us were educated, attractive, relatively sane, and with reasonable standards. You guys again think affection/romance is the same as acting nice or cleaning your own dishes. I’m also a nurse and the majority of my past relationships are nurses or the like—-supposedly the most compassionate and trusted types of people, as well as being considered pretty high quality.
