I wasn't one of those people. Blockchain was in infancy back then as well. Big boys like fidelity wanted nothing to do with it really back then. When you talk about a 2.5 trillion asset type company prepping and spending millions getting it up and running is when you have to start using your brain my man. Banks and venture capitalist are working RIGHT now on technology to integrator crypto currency into banking systems and transferring money around in seconds from different currency's and platforms. Would you please explain to me why they are doing this?

Could you imagine a bank and platform that was constantly investing a portfolio for you that you could instantly deposit or withdraw money from depending on your free margin? Look at the simpleton company acorns. They just released their own debit card. What will happen when a company already with trillions of dollars in assets does the same thing on steroids?

Yeah, a lot of people believe it's going to skyrocket as a purely speculative matter and want an easy avenue into that pond. At some point, the actual value of any investment comes into play. A stock can have a massive IPO or a giant run based on potential, but at some point it needs to turn a profit or it doesn't matter.

Unless BTC finds adoption as an actual currency, eventually it's going to be worthless. What percentage of people use it for currency now vs the percentage of people buying it to speculate? It's like 1% actuality using it as money.

Forex trading is the easiest comparison. If you're buying currency from a country that only prints currency to sell for forex... how long will that self sustain?

I don't think you understand crypto with this post. Banks and investment fund company's are literally working on what I think you are talking about. it IS a currency. With the right technology and platform it will make banks as we know it obsolete.

it seems like some folk itt are just uneducated, it's a newer technology, not everyone will be into or understand the technology right away,
and the ones that are have a chance to profit in a growing phase. the ones that are involved are giving these companies a chance to build these awesome infrastructures that WILL change over time.
and help society advance in tech.

a lot of big companies are already starting to use the blockchain, i highly recommend at least understanding the basic concepts of why the blockchain exists, and what it can actually do, don't invest your money, just a fraction of your time.

AKA ITS NOT JUST FOR CURRENCY
blockchain applications go far beyond cryptocurrency and bitcoin. With its ability to create more transparency and fairness while also saving businesses time and money, the technology is impacting a variety of sectors in ways that range from how contracts are enforced to making government work more efficiently.

Smart contracts are like regular contracts except the rules of the contract are enforced in real-time on a blockchain, which eliminates the middleman and adds levels of accountability for all parties involved in a way not possible with traditional agreements. This saves businesses time and money, while also ensuring compliance from everyone involved.
i mean there are plenty of outlets that teach how blockchain works and what platforms or "coins" can do, a lot of them vary.

idk mane.. the internet was skeptical at first, but it made people ****ing wealthy as fuk.

Wat?

Like 1/3 if California's population has never had a bank account in their lives.

Anyway, I just really hope all the Btc advocates at least grasp the value is in the speculation, not the actual asset. If you believe it'll reach $1m irrationally and plan to cash out on the emotional drive of the market, more power to you. If you've actually convinced yourself the value will hit those levels based on Btc having a use... ho lee fuk.
So are you going to post a video of you doing a 235 x2 strict form overhead press? I offered $200. Lets see it hair burn guy.

If you have pick a new crypto, even with 5 figures you can pump and dump and make a lot of cash.

You can stamp your wallet details into a piece of metal then put it in a safety deposit box in a bank's safe if you're really that worried about it. Or just go bury that metal card somewhere obscure or w/e, imagination's the limit.

Or spread your stack out among a few wallets so if one gets lost/compromised somehow (through you being a idiot, not the blockchain itself being broken) you're not out your whole stack.

You're either being purposefully obtuse or you're actually this stupid, idk which is worse
