Man, on this note, it is because humans are schizophrenic as fuk. In fact, to merely be human means schizophrenia. There is a lot of interesting research on this topic. We cannot accept reality as it is and have to twist and turn it to create our own alternative meaning and reality in a world that objectively just is. That's it. Sentence ends at is. Objectively, that is just how we choose to perceive things but at the end of the day that is still a piece of meat surrounded by some plastic and paper, and that card is just material from the earth, just like that machine we randomly place our cards over.

Our entire existence is creating an alternative reality to how bare everything is. Animals don't do this. Because of our greater capacity for thought and intelligence, we have to cope because we cannot accept the world for what it is. Life and the world isn't beautiful or trash. Life is. The world is. That's it. The sentence ends there. We cannot accept it, so we rephrase it as "the world is _____", life is _____", filling in that blank is just your or my way of coping because our minds cannot simply accept that the sentence ends at is. Hence when speaking to each other we'd never for example reply to the question of "how is he" with "he is." But in reality, he just is, everything else you add after the word is merely your own perception of him. If you wanna explore this stuff in greater depth I recommend trying a trip with something that rhymes with brooms, if I say it I probably get banned. I don't necessarily agree that a city folk in a 3rd world country who randomly went broke would be any happier than we would be broke. That person's schizophrenia is already on par with ours and has deviated too much from the bare emptiness of nature into the modern world. As someone from a 3rd world country, life in the city really ain't all that bad and with global acceptance of social media, and technological advancement, everything we experience here they will too/are getting close to. They already complain about Westernization in the form of social media and its negative consequences destroying their cultures/ruining their kids and as someone who was last there in grade 5 and sees growing amounts of mental illness in the developed world, they have good reason to complain.

If we all actually spread out instead of clogging up clogged up areas there would not only be more than enough space for us all but likely a lot less commotion and more sanity. There are studies on this topic relating to living in highly people dense areas and the impact on you mentally. The intuition is based on basic economic principles. Seeing so many people in a single area makes you lose respect and love for your fellow human. Just like if everyone had diamonds in abundance no one would care about diamonds. Demand would be lower because it was so easily accessible, and price would hence be lower too.

That's why a lot of city people in large areas like Toronto or NYC are stereotyped as kunts and have all kinds of ongoing issues. When I was out in Eastern Canada, the respect we all had for each other was insane. It was considered rude of a man and a woman walking past each other not to acknowledge each other at 3am. Had a 5 minute conversation with almost every person I crossed. People were a lot happier, more family oriented, not as materialistic, and just overall much more positive. I would love if Canada put a ban on immigrants coming to Toronto. It's already way too fuking full, how about you move to PEI and help the economy grow over there
