I just watched a documentary on this. I don't like any Haunted House where the hosts touch the guests. It opens up a can of worms that can spiral out of control. If money is on the line, then these guys are going to do everything they can to make you quit. This isn't a haunted house. It's a hazing.

That was what I was thinking as well.

However, people are morons and most people won’t seek a lawyers advice or (in America especially) be able to afford one.

Why didn’t the girls in GDP press charges... until they did.

If this is actually real and none of those are paid actors etc., it looks like it’s just a matter of time before they end up in court.
There’s no fukken way you can break anyones bones etc. legally in the western world (again, outside sports or a doctor doing it for your overall betterment).

But I have a hard time even seeing a house like this being legal in my country if it known that it includes breaking bones, torture (waterboarding was mentioned ITT) and the likes. The police would shut it down and the owner and actors prosecuted irregardless of anyone filing a complaint.

So obviously rules are very different, if the facts presented ITT are indeed true.

Who knows, it might already be. Going to court is a process. The owner might have enough money to bombard suing party with documents and stuff to drag out the process as well

A waiver is only going to go so far. If you are killed or seriously injured, a waiver isn't going to cover that. If so, doctor assisted suicide would be legal. You are basically giving them consent to do a lot to you legally. The agreement probably is that you have a safe word and can give up at any time. So basically, you are free to go, but once you do, you're out.

Owner is actually retired career military, probably had to interrogate some people back in the day and found his new passion. Apparently all the "actors" are all either ex-cons or military as well.
