Like...what world do you live in that you think the VP9 trigger is that good? It's really not. Like at all. lol
I mean, M&P 2.0 trigger talk aside, the P-10C is much better than the VP9. VP9 is a very mediocre trigger. Not the worst, but certainly not something I'd say is a highlight for the gun...

Pause the cz sloppy suck off for a moment and, other than their pistols, what do you believe are the best striker fired factory triggers?

but there is no way in hell the VP9 trigger comes NEAR the p10c trigger. The VP9 trigger is long but "sMoOtH" as the HK cultists say. the reset is garbage. for the price you'd expect it to beat a 2.0 trigger but I can't say it even does that.
how much did you pay for the vp9sk? the 2.0?

Out of my sample size of one . . . I like my VP9 trigger far more than my P-10c trigger. The reset on the P-10c is really nice. But everything else about the VP9 trigger makes it more enjoyable to shoot and I'm more accurate with it so far. The P-10c trigger feels heavier and a lot more "stiff" and is actually a little uncomfortable to shoot after a short period of time. Makes the pad of my finger sore pretty quickly, which I haven't had on really any other pistol.

I was actually a little underwhelmed by the P-10c. Was expecting to fall in love with it right out of the box based on all I had heard about it . . . and it left me a little disappointed. I plan to shoot it more to see if it grows on me, but if I had to pick between the two of them for a long range day, I'd grab the VP9 every day and twice on Sunday right now.

Okay so I just traded for a Glock 45 and Glock 42. Going to sell the G42 as it’s a bitch ass .380.

On the other hand....I can’t decide what to do with the G45 (G19 slide w/ G17 grip, front slide serrations and 8 sights). Already have a G19 and G17. Trying to figure out if I should keep it or not.....

This is almost exactly how I would put it, but with the pistols swapped. Accuracy between the two is not close in my experience. Again, just a quick one vs one anecdotal deal as well as far as all that goes.

They don't have to sell firearms at all. Other than sporting goods, pawn, and gun shops, who does? Can't think of a single hardware, home goods, clothing, food, etc. store that does, but I don't hold it against them.
If they had never sold firearms/ammo and then started to sell a limited selection of reasonably priced firearms/ammo, we'd be in the same place, but guessing there's a good chance you'd be applauding them instead of criticizing.

afaik (and I could be wrong), the only limit on firearms rights they've imposed is ASKing that people don't open carry. I'm completely ok with this because open carry is retarded.
I do think it's fabulous they are backing out of the firearms/ammo market for the most part because it helps the local gun store.
i see your point but i feel incredibly frustrated by the anti gun movement of companies. i feel like i need to boycott any company that contributes to this. besides, wal mart is a corporation whos sole interest is increasing the bottom line. the only reason they would choose not to sell pistol ammo is because it makes them money. im willing to bet somebody like mike bloomburg paid them a large sum of money to take the stance they did.

never shot a VP9 but i have shot the HK 45 which is essentially a compact USP. it may look cool but that high bore axis creates alot of muzzle rise compared to what im used to, which is mostly glock.

PPQ and VP9 are practically the same gun and trigger. Your bias is showing...we know the VP9 comes in first.

Didn’t Taf shoot them at the same time and chose the VP9? Makes me think that Taf’s particular VP9 might just be an exceptional example.

I rented the PPQ M2 and the VP9 and shot them side-by-side and back-and-forth one night when I was trying to decide between the two. I came to the same conclusion as Farley. They felt like the same, exact gun to me. Look alot the same. Everything about them felt the same and they both shot incredibly smooth and accurate from the jump. It was essentially a dead heat between the two after putting a bunch of rounds down range with both. I could have flipped a coin and been thrilled with either one, TBH.

In the end, I thought I shot the VP9 by just the thinnest of hairs "better". The tie-breaker in my mind was that when I picked up the VP9 the first time, I drilled the bullseye on the first couple shots. I ended up buying my VP9 online (Grabagun, I think).

I don't know what it is with my P-10c. Maybe I got one with a stiff trigger that just needs to work itself out? It's also not nearly as comfortable in the hand as the VP9 . . . that thing fits like a freaking glove. The P-10c has that more utilitarian, rough feel with the rough texture. I don't hate it. I just don't love it like I thought I would.

if you can find a pre ban saiga import then get that. new WASRs are good too. dont know about zastava but ive never heard anything abd about them so their probably also good to go.

one thing to keep in mind about AKs in general though is that they dont always have the best quality control, so its best to inspect the rifle before you purchase it.

Well, like any production gun, some are better than others.
Bought myself an SP-01 Phantom today and its probably one of, if not the best, CZ 75 non Shadow triggers I've ever felt out the box. DA just over 9 lbs and very smooth. SA just over 4lb and white crisp. I have a Pro Kit ready to go in it. Honestly I probably wouldn't even install it if it weren't for the factory reset being a little long and me not being a fan of the OEM trigger shape.
Felt others with 11lb DA's, gritty, with stacking and 5+lb SA's. Sometimes tolerance stacking falls out just right and works in your favor.

I have...more than one...VP. They're just good.

Being winter if I wasn't carrying the M2.0 sub/compact, my next choice would probably be the full size VP9. Summer would still go to the G26 though

I think originally, Arsenal was converting Izhmash made rifles for the American market (literally, Saigas). I think once there were the Russian import restrictions implemented (2014?) that became something that wasn’t possible anymore and Arsenal started using Bulgarian hosts and manufacturing in America as well. I’m sort of going from memory on this, so hopefully someone can corroborate.

true. what i understand though is that arsenal has in the past imported saiga rifles and restored them to their intended form with a pistol grip.

you cant buy factory new saiga AKs anymore though because obama banned them from importation. arsenal imports bulgarian parts and assembles them into complete rifles, and the bulgarian receivers are as of now still available for importation.

my canik TP9 elite combat ****s all over my VP9 trigger

I also haven't apex'd any of my m2.0's , they have smoothed out significantly.

its crazy some people say the vp9 trigger is better than the P10c

there is hardly any take up in the trigger pull, a 4 to 4.5 lb break, and a stupid short reset. What's not to like?
