Not exactly hidden but a lot of people haven't seen the Prestige. Do NOT look up the plot before watching.

The latest season transforms the show from good to great IMO. Character building and plot on levels nearing season 3-4 of GoT (not quite there)

For dudes, they are a better choice.

I like the more esoteric, softer animes though. Like Spirited Away, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, and Your Name. IME those soft animes hit me emotionally in a way that western films seem to try to, but don't.

I honestly couldn't care less about romantic plots in western movies, but anime makes me care about the people. (Apart from Western movies like Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, and 500 Days Of Summer.)

Have you seenThe Greywith Liam Neeson, then?

Ending almost made me tear up. A group of men trying to survive against a pack of wolves, after their plane crash lands.

(Despite it what may seem like I don't tear up at the drop of a hat. Only film that made me blub like a baby was Creed 2... Ded srs. I walked home holding in that cry. The Drago father-son storyline ripped me apart... I grew up watching the Rocky films.)

I dont get it. I watched the trailer and lol NOPE'd it right away.

It looked like low budget filming, poor acting, random mix of people in the desert fighting and hiding from some blurred triangle and shadow ghosts.

I'm not clear on the end of Time Lapse though. When the sloot shot her boyfriend, she was convinced she could undo it, but I'm not clear about the mechanics of that or was she just confused?

Since we all know about the big hits and classics, that isn't much good if you want something new. So stuff like The Invisible Man, Casino, Goodfellas, Titanic, T2, 1917 etc isnt worth suggesting.

I'm making this thread so people can suggest really good hidden gem type movies, from any decade, which never got much media attention.

I will start with this one.Take Shelter. This is about a guy who has a lot of visions about the end of the world basically. Very, very underrated movie and I suggest you watch it. Got some good actors in it too. Trailer:

For some reason this never got much interest which is weird since it is a decent movie. Even has MuRrrRrrRrf from Interstellar in it
Take Shelter is great. Make sure to check out the directors other movies. Midnight Special, Mud and Shotgun Stories.

So fukkinnnnggg goood

And Loving.
