Trust me I know. I've grown up around addicts all of my life. My father, uncles, cousins etc....I've had my piggy bank stolen when I was a kid so my uncle could buy drugs and plenty of examples along those lines.

I'm not saying that one group is superior to the other or that drug addicts are not people. I'm saying that addicts are more prone to detrimental behavior because of their addiction.

Yeah but drug addicts are terrible humans in almost every measure. I understand it might not be "their fault" because they're addicted but that doesn't mean they aren't are a plague on society and literally no one with any sense would want to live with or around them. 'Ol Cletus Jones from the Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Pentecostal Church might spend 30 minutes talking my ear off about how great Jesus' love is but at least I know he's not gonna bust the window out of my truck to steal $1.27 from the center console.

I don't care what consenting adults do but I used to facilitate a group of child abuse survivors and many of them were raised in cults, and they were abused severely so anything weirdly dark, I would be wary of only for those reasons but other than that couldn't care less.

That's the big issue I have with people who try to portray Satanism as a benign tradition, when it's phuckin not. IMO it's reckless to promote the idea that Satanism as whole is benign.

Laveyan Satanism is one sect, that made it public to be against Child abuse (likely for good reason... Lavey IMO knew about the phucked up chit that other Satanists sects have done... That doesn't mean that I don't think that Lavey and the Church of Satan are good people, they support Social Darwinism for example).

People have a grudge against Christians or Christianity tend to enjoy reading about it (that was how I first discovered it, in my teens), because Lavey and the Church of Satan have a grudge against Christians and Christianity. (Who would have though that Satanists would have a problem with Christians and Christianity? LOL.)

I've read about a LOT of cults.
Things like the whole David Berg situation and all that.
Stuff is CRAZY. And what's more insane is a lot of people have no idea that it actually happens. Like Scientology people actually see and all that, but I don't think people know the true darkness behind it.

These cults absolutely FUK people up.
Like I know some people remember when Sensuality finally started really going downhill she discussed that she got out of Scientology and it really messed her up. Now, whether that's true or not, I don't know but it's definitely a very scary thought.
