If you had bought just $100 of BTC at the start of each month, beginning in December 2017 (i.e. the worst possible time) when everyone was going mental, you would:
> have invested $3600 over 36 months
> now have 0.497 BTC worth $9200
> be up 2.6x without trying or thinking or knowing what you're doing
Why didn't you have even $100 per month to save? Don't tell me you had that money but put it in a bank account instead?
Could have been a slayer.

Crypto is a complete speculative gamble, especially when the market barely reflects intrinsic value.
WTC is a scam coin and itโll probably still pump soon.

I was counting on a move like this. It was obvious and inevitable. Just I wasn't sure of the timing, but around this 1950-2000 sats level seemed like a good entry in a longer time frame.
Luck is when you buy something randomly and know nothing about it.
So no, I didn't get lucky. And that's a massive insult, especially that I accumulated heavy during a bear market where everyone had lost hope. I kept pouring money in.

Itโs nice to believe you did make a great prediction. But it isnโt true, and youโre naive to think so. Maintain humility. You invested in a massively speculative market, just like I did when I invested in Ethereum at $80. I got lucky, you did too.
โNothing to do with luckโ - comical statement.

There is not a huge amount of studies for the crypto market but for the stock market there is. What the studies say is that by stock picking and/or market timing (active investment), you can of course outperform the market (passive investment), but only for a while. Outperformers are not identifiable by their past performance. In other words: whatever performance you make above the market, is 100% pure luck, no matter what you base your investment decisions in. Over time, luck evens out.

I still have no idea why xrp is pumping, I understand Ethereum though. Watch out if you hold XRP, the founders are ruthless ruthless dumpers.

I don't own any XRP but happy for you bros with it. Also it is great it is going up because it lowers the BTC dominance which should help all alts soon even more.

And to answer your question.. my main stock has done many times better than that(yes, luck), but its an actual company with assets that makes something. Iโm not interested in something that is pure speculation, unregulated, uninsurable and utterly flawed.
Once again. IF you got in and out of this mess ahead, well done. No bitterness here

Everyone is going to get a turn. Good idea to have some coinbase coins. If you know of a listing in advance its probably a 300%er

We're all gonna make it boyos.
It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living. . . Our lives are, in reality, the sum total of our seemingly unimportant decisions and of our capacity to live by those decisions. โ Gordon B. Hinckley

I can retire now and live relatively frugally but I want a 8 figure networth.
I'm in an awkward place right now, I want to blow my brains out in my wage cuck lifestyle but on the other hand I can't retire and live decently. Few big investments are my only hope.
