both a 3070 and 3080 on their way boyos. Bought the $570 msrp at $670 because Mexico prices last friday, then today I bought a $770 msrp 3080 evga 3xc ultra for $880. Going to try to resell the 3070 for maybe $100 bucks profit since I dont need it anymore and it hasnt even arrived.

my 10900k arrived today, also got a new kraken z63 and a h510 elite black case. My body ready for cyberpunk, on my odyssey g9 das it.

Depends on the setup. If you provide us a parts list, we can offer better advice

Most of the stuff nowadays runs through a program called "iCue" that Corsair makes, AFAIK

My CX750M psu decided to call it quits after 7 years.
Just after black friday as well

Ended up buying a RM650X V2. Also picked up a Noctua NF-A12x25 as they only had one left in stock.
Fine-tuned my fans now so that I almost have a whisper silent setup.

I must recommended FanControl if you guys haven't used it. It's super sweet.

Ikea sucks big ole donkeys

I'm trying to make one of those 6' R/Battlestations desk with an Ikea countertop, and 2x Ikea Alex drawers (like this):



Ikea keeps letting me put stuff in my cart and checkout, then they cancel the order because of not having stock

the nearest Ikea is a 2 hour drive away, and they say that one doesn't have stock... not worth running over to check

I spent like an hour getting automatic replies via phone, finally got a person, and he was like "oh yeah everything is out of stock now. just don't do anything and eventually you'll get a call saying its back in stock"

LOL wtf bro what are the odds. My cx750m died last night. I think I had it about the same amount of time and I am also very annoyed it was right after all the sales.

I pulled the tx850 out of my VR pc for now but it's not fully modular and I can't close thr back of my micro case now so that's fun. And now I have no vr pc.

The RM650X was as cheap as PSUs have been lately, approx 105 bucks pre-tax.
You guys in the US have it nice with the availability of seasonic and the likes for cheap when reading reviews onhttps://www.jonnyguru.com/

And I had been considering a PSU upgrade for a while since the CX750M wasn't silent by any means.
It's really smooth having an almost silent pc when I am using it all day with wfh and such.

Made a huge mistake, couldnt decide quick enough on what motherboard to get (settled on the z490 maximus hero) , so I ended up ordering late, it will arrive monday, meanwhile I have all my new parts just sitting here. Anxiety is kicking in hard. Im PCless right now, and my desk a mess (cables all over the place)




Heard my doorbell ring this morning, rushed to open the door since maybe amazon got here faster, but no, it was just some ******* that got the wrong house.

Just ballparking numbers off the top my head, you could build that yourself for somewhere around $2100-$2200 or so.
But...of course...that would be IF you could actually find the GPU or processor in stock somewhere at MSRP.

I see. Yeah I think that's completely out of the question now that I think about it. Saw it on UrAvgConsumers channel and his looked freaking sick. But turns out someone in the comments said that the way his was set up it turned that 3k computer into a 6k computer..The extra cost must be for the water cooling system. I haven't looked too much into it.

Yup - my water cooling stuff will be about an extra $1200 or so (i'm including fans) over going with an AIO. But it's a "dream" build.

SO I don't know much of chit about keyboards. Are keycaps interchangeable between all mechanical keyboards or is it not universal? I have a Razer BlackWidow Elite, but was gonna buy a few of these (one for me and some friends if they're universal).

Edit: I see this now. Not sure what Razer uses if it's "clones" or not. "Compatible with Cherry MX switches and clones"

almost ready for maximum WFH / gaming / rotting situation



wall mounted the 65" 4 TV, built my DIY Ikea desk, and got my monitors as good as they can be right now... had to order two more mounts so I can do it better

I have about $500 of LEDS to string up around the room, and then program to listen to music or reflect what is on the screen, and I think I'm gonna do some more cable management and get more LEDS in the computer case

Different switches has different stems.
Clones of MX cherry are typically Khali, Gatereon and such chinese switches. This is because Cherry's patent went out or something.
Then you have Leopolds and other switches.

as long as you're in America, you should be able to find that easily for under $350

FE's or AIB's?

Just found out my FE is a great card to undervolt. Only 1-2 fps less (on Cyberpunk) running at 50 watts less and only going up to 60 degr.
