Once it becomes common, if ever, it will definitely be regulated as any other currency. Why should papa John, for example, accept it instead of telling me to convert it to USD at my own cost
The advantage in using it is that you get no purchase protection whatsoever. It’s untraceable. If you hold it as a store of wealth, it’s uninsureable.

The misc tells me however that these are not flaws but features..

Couldn’t your bank just stop you from sending/etrasfering and accepting money Crypto companies?

Then what happens? Genuinely curious.

There's lots of legitimate questions.

I don't debate the validity of it as a speculative investment or a possible future asset but there's simply too much unknown to take it seriously as an investment. Yes I missed out on ROI, but I'm not mad about it, I do think lots of people will lose money when it's real price eventually settles.

When your grocery guy tells you to buy gold it's time to sell. Same concept here. It's not going away but also not going to buy us all lambos.

The best part about Bitcoin is that it's going to fulfill my prophecy of blowing through $100,000.... no matter how many times you make these threads.

If you aren't profitable then you have no-one to blame but yourself. We tried to help you, but you couldn't accept the fact that manlets make some damn good cookies

Anytime I transfer over $10k anywhere my bank blocks my account and I have to call them to explain why I’m transferring, if I’m a victim of a scam, who’s trying to convince me to send the money bla bla. One time I sent it from my own account to my other account and I had to deal with the same ****.

I actually have 2 banks in the UK that both make me do this.

Literally feels like the money is not mine and that I’m a criminal. Some of the questions they ask are so invasive.

This is why I love Bitcoin. My keys, my money. I transfer it where I want when I want and use it how I wish.

You'd think the retards who come up with literally the first thing anybody thinks as a case against Bitcoin would have learned by now.

This forum is Dunnings Kruger at its best, I recall the following threads:

Not yet. As long as Governments are printing money and handing it out, it will find its way to crypto. Compare the current run of BC and the stock market with large influxes of Gov handouts.

Normies are getting in on BTC now more then ever. There are a few jewelry stores in my town advertising they sell BTC, there’s atm like machines popping up everywhere.. I could have bought when BTC was under a dollar a coin. I thought it was a scam... lol

Normaltons will keep the price propped up. Unless something drastic happens or one of the major bag holders dumps everything it will probably stay around it’s current level for awhile.

Actually a good point. Theres no way this takes anything over

Brb u.s. letting some **** country elsewhere control chit - inb4 "decentralization" - yes i know, but just even the idea. All this talk about insurances and what not are good too.

Its a question of whether it can coexist with fiat - not sure why it wouldnt just fade out at that point.

Im just talking start and end-game, not really speaking toward all the movement in between

Arms length central banks are far better run than central banks that are controlled by governments.

Lagarde made the comments during a Reuters Next conference earlier today, during which she asserted that Bitcoin was not a currency.

The former head of the IMF, who was previously found guilty of financial negligence by a French court over a €403 million arbitration deal in favor of businessman Bernard Tapie, went on to accuse Bitcoin of being heavily embroiled in criminal activity.

“(Bitcoin) has conducted some funny business and some interesting and totally reprehensible money laundering activity,” said Lagarde.

The ECB head went on to call for Bitcoin to be regulated by financial authorities.

“There has to be regulation. This has to be applied and agreed upon […] at a global level because if there is an escape that escape will be used,” she said.

Globalists and technocrats have long begrudged Bitcoin because it is decentralized and therefore impossible to come under the control of centralized financial institutions. The cryptocurrency has also provided a refuge for dissidents who have been deplatformed by regular financial services and institutions over their politics.

Bitcoin recently soared to a record high above $41,000 dollars but has since fallen back to around $35,000 dollars.

After the cryptocurrency previously hit a record high of above $17,000 dollars at the end of 2017 it then sank bank to around $3,000, emphasizing the wild volatility of the asset.
