They don't because picking stocks over the long term makes less money than the index, this has been proven and true 99.9% of the time, citation: many books on index investing.

I bought AMC because they secured more funding. They have a more positive outlook now. It also wasn't a buy to just to screw over hedge funds. It's a good buy to me and I like their theaters and don't want them to go under. Not every stock pick is about traditional fundamentals, some people just like companies and want to support them as well.

im still holding 250 stocks or so from average of $40.. i set up at 380 sell to take initials out before heading to bed but the highest was 379... i guess someone up in heavens is trying to tell me something.. reading the latest SI%, no way in hell they can cover the calls expiring this friday, that puts on massive buy pressure on prices to cover... i thought $1000 was a meme but SI%, Price Action is telling me this may actually happen...... once in a lifetime chit happening right now brahs

No **** why do you think AMC, BB, and BBBY are all being shilled on every single forum, including news sites, tv anchors, et al, that had some volume of posts about $GME? They've tried everything else, creating dumps, spreading SEC fud, claiming they were shoah'd, paying reputable analysts to tell you not to buy....
.... finally some millenial on their staff worked up the nerve to suggest the only real solution: do not try to stop their autism, or to discourage them from pursuing these insanely reckless plays, rather generate hype for other plays to dissipate the amount concentrated against us. And it is working.

Hedge funds can bet on a company failing by buying more shares than there is in existence with money that doesn’t exist and when it all inevitably goes to chit get bailed out by tax payers.
