AMC, BB, BBY, NOK are all fake news.
GME was the only stock to get in. Bought in at $39, sold some at $360ish, bought back in at $300ish and taking it to the FUKKKIN MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON
Made enough money to help me finalize on a house, and just bought back in a little bit for chits and giggles.
The reality is that at the end of the day, when this all crashes, a lot of people will lose money, but if you look at who's holding this stuff, you'll see people won't sell until it hits liek $1000, or until they go broke.
The dude who started all of this is up tens of millions of dollars.
Edit: I called the miscer who posted this last week an idiot, and I am forever in your debt for this tip.

Sure it wasn't as get rich as your purchase, but I'll take 300% return every day of the week.
Edit: who was the dude here stating to buy AMC? I can't find the thread. It would have been posted on the 24th - 25th of this month.

I'm genuinely open to figures showing that. Last I read there is much more caution with investing significant amounts in hedge funds when it comes to things like 401K.
Short squeezing these hedge funds is very likely short squeezing ordinary Americans whose money has been pooled together and managed by these funds
But I guess if the intent is to screw over the boomer, as so many of these WSBers claim on message boards, then I guess it makes sense to screw over the pension funds and unions
This is the strange narrative that Charles Payne talked about... They took out 140% shorts (they've doubled down, and taken out more). They were literally going to potentially drive the stock to zero, phuckin the company (and the employees) over. No outcry for them doing that. But I guess if the intent is to screw over the boomer, as so many of these WSBers claim on message boards, then I guess it makes sense to screw over the pension funds and unions
Hedgefunds do these kinds of dirty tactics periodically, no outcry.
They do it to one business, and then to another, and another and another.
Retail investors do it to Hedge funds, and then some people - like yourself - say things like 'think of the people affected!'.

Haven't posted since Zyzz days, but this thread has brought me out of lurking. If anything GME is the least risky of all these stocks. To start, given the recent big changes to GameStop, GME was WAY under valued. Now that Cohen has gained a board seat he is going to start GameStops transition into an eCommerce based retailer. Regis Fil Aime is also on the board of directors. GameStop is no longer a dying mall based business. And then of course you have the impeding short squeeze which is what is causing GME to go parabolic. You think it is too late for GME, but the squeeze hasn't even started. $1,000 is very much a possibility for GME after 1/29 calls expire Friday.
What is the play with AMC? It is just a straight up meme stock. Just LOL at buying for $20. How much do you think you are going to sell for? ATH for AMC is ~40. You really think you will go higher than that with Covid wrecking theaters? Do you even know about the debt AMC is carrying? If you bought for $5 and sold today for $20, good for you. If you are still buying at $20, I got sum bad news for you. Same for NOK. What is it about NOK that you think makes it a good buy? 5G? Now people are trying to pump NAKD??? That is a ****ing penny stock lol. Lets be honest, you guys are just buying because "Its only $7, what if it hits $100!" But there is zero catalyst that will drive it to that price. People are just looking for 'the next GME.' But there is no 'next GME.'
Why do you think that it is too late for GME? Do you think the price is too high and it is going to crash? Ill tell you one thing, if GME crashes it is taking these meme stocks with it. Hell just look at After Market trading, GME is down 15% while AMC is down 27% and was down 39% at one point. Do you think it is too late for GME because you think it is close to its ceiling? Do you really think that AMC has a better shot at reaching $50 than GME has of hitting $1K?
I am not a financial advisor, there is risk involved with any of these stocks. But if you really wanted to YOLO, GME is the best bet and it is not even close. Holding 2800 shares (worth just over a million at peak today) and the thought of selling hasn't even crossed my mind. Why? Because I believe that the price will continue to go up. Is it too late to make life changing money on GME? Probably. But definitely not to late to make a decent profit.

There is no altruism on either side of the coin. The company stock is being toyed with and the odds are its over for the company and employees.
...and whats funny is that this allows the fat cat executives at the company to sell their "worthless" stock for a boatload after running the company into the ground...while the minimum wage worker is going to be told to pack their bags and get out when the dust settles.
