Roughly 40% of the supply is in the hands of small/medium sized holders. That's a far better distribution than stocks or anything else.

To be fair if I created my own company I wouldn't be giving away equity. Remember Papa Johns (I think?) where the brother or some other employee traded away a bunch of equity just to buy an used car, lol.

It's not so much the capital but actually the knowledge or putting in the effort.

Granted I usually run into 10 scams or 10 duds but I usually get into one ERC-20 token that nets me 20x to 100x ROI. Problem is I don't want to risk my overall net worth so I'm only dumping $200 - $1,000 into each project I like.

So it's been ok money for me.

Lettuce beef cereal - a lot of the people "rich" in Crypto were actually rich before. It's a rich get richer setup. Roger Ver's Father owns some huge rental Empire in California and he had some successful computer store before Crypto. Vitalik Buterin's Dad was selling prepackaged websites in Canada for some 8 figure revenue and that's how Vitalik was able to be a 'Crypto Journalist' for free and used those connections to start Ethereum. Crypto is somehow full of 16 year olds gambling $100,000+ like it's pocket change. "Is this real life" for a middle class person like me?

I went down the rabbit hole of crypto-government connection a while back, and 'conspiracy theory' research is probably what I'm best at...

IMO there is reason to believe that Bitcoin may have been a state creation, and reason to believe that it isn't a state creation.

Brief Case That Bitcoin Is A Conspiracy

The case that it's a government creation is the NSA's paper released in 1996 about how to create a new form of electronic cash involving similar ideas that went into Bitcoin, but it is more of a prototype for a CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency, created by a centralized blockchain network). The paper also cited 2 Japanese cryptographers whose names could have been combined to create the name Satoshi Nakamoto.

https://groups.csail.mit.edu/mac/cla...nt/nsamint.htm

Multimillionaire Roger Ver - who is a staunch advocate for cryptocurrency and is a very active investor and promoter - openly talks about people who admit to be on the Government's payroll being a strong part of the 'anti big block' argument for Bitcoin. Bigger blocks would mean lower transaction fees and faster confirmation times, which is important for a system that actively wants to be used a currency. The 'anti big block' side won, and it's the reason why Bitcoin is slow and has high transaction fees when there is high use.

He talks about it in this interview from 41:45...

(Side note: Bitcoin Cash IMO is going to be a strong contender in the future for the title of 'peer to peer electronic cash'.)

Bitcoin is also an open ledger. Meaning every single transaction and wallet is recorded and openly presented to everyone, so a person's transaction history and their wallet address amount can be analyzed by everyone. That means complete economic surveillance.

Bitcoin may be a 'outsourcing' of blockchain technology, a way of finding the strongest blockchain tech through competition so that the 'elite' can pick the best to use for their CBDC.

Brief Case That Bitcoin Was Created By A Cypherpunk, Who Was Against The 'Elite'.

The case that it's not a government creation comes from the understanding that although it features similar concepts and tech to the NSA paper, it also features tech and concepts that are very different. It is also open source and it also gave birth to distributed blockchain technology. That whitepaper sprung various crypto projects featuring various protocols - some very strong when it comes to privacy and some very weak.(Cryptocurrency with ZKsnark tech seems to be the ones that offer the highest level of privacy, based on what I've research. E.g. Zcash, Firo, Pirate Chain, and PIVX.)

Edward Snowden exposed a lot of classified documents about NSA activity, and found nothing about Bitcoin being one of their operations. Edward Snowden also said that using Bitcoin to make purchases helped him to flee the country with those classified documents undetected. Bitcoin can be used in a way that doesn't link to your ID, if you know what you are doing - if done right, there will be a low risk of someone connecting your Bitcoin wallet to you as a person.

The same interview that I posted about Roger Ver talking about government involvement, IMO actually far better supports the idea that Bitcoin was not a government creation. Roger talks about his experience and observation of the government trying to subvert the direction of Bitcoin, which is different from controlling it.

The Cypherpunk movement in the 90s featured cryptographers like Adam Back and Nick Szabo who proposed concepts and hypotheses for a peer to peer electronic cash system. Cyperpunk was a movement that wanted to see a decentralized system flourish, and Satoshi Nakamoto may have been one of them.

It may be that Satoshi Nakamoto was an insider who saw that the 'elite' were planning a CBDC, and decided to release it to the free market to create peer to peer electronic cash that could rival CBDCs.

If you say buy into a 20% pump then panic sell when it dumps the next day and lock in the loss, then yes you can lose money in crypto right now, ie. if you are retarded, which I am assuming you are.

I couldn't care less the value of bitcoin. I have my own investments.

Sure, would have been great to buy some at $4K, but it makes no difference to me. There will never be shortage of opportunities to make money. You coicells act like this is the only and fastest way to do it.

PS. I've coded bots to auto buy and sell bitcoin. I now exactly what the crypto market is like.

They all got pulled down. Because real Butters are a small population in real life. Like the US Federal Reserve estimates some 6 figure active number of them. So these guys were just SPAMMING every company to "plz add Bitcoin plzzzzzz we'llll spendddd money" but then they only had 10 or 20 purchases with Bitcoin over 1+ year.

People tell me I'm wrong but I felt like most of the 2017 pump were KoreanCels YOLOing their life savings. It stopped when Korean Government brought in regulations + some high ranking member of the Korean Government committed suicide to avoid going to prison over insider trading (the media reported it as a "heart attack" because of defamation laws. Aka his relatives could sue the media for $$$).

I have no idea what's moving the current pump forward. Some people speculate it's Tether printing billions each month and Tether can't be touched by US Govt because it's based in HK on something?

Na. This is going to be a tidal wave of institutions . It’s going to six Figures this year. You’re buying into the future of money. If you can get a whole coin you’ll be set for life in a decade. Bt. Will be over 10m long term in tiday purchasing power.

So yeah it comes down

1. Do you buy boomer stocks and get 10% ROI (if you get super lucky)
2. Take the chance that you'll 2x or 3x your money with Bitcoin. 5x to 100x with an alternate crypto.

Of course with #1 we probably won't see a 1929 crash. But with #2 - Bitcoin at any moment could correct / crash down to $20,000 for example. So #2 is more risk for more reward, easy.

Yeah I don’t really get into stocks anymore. I liquidate my entire portfolio last year in February before the crash luckily. And I have some options right now but I don’t really do much but yeah if it crashes it’s going back up man this is the future of money and the richest person in the world just got over $1 billion this is get a signal to a lot of people to get in. Does the title wave is coming it’s pretty clear add anyone that’s able to acquire an entire clan will be set for life because there’s a limited amount is this where his ass in the world. Just think about it in 20 years when the adoption goes from one percent globally to 50% probably do you know how much an entire Bitccoin is going to be worth it’s going to be insane. Just remember they have 100 million units per coin so a lot of people are only gonna have a few hundred in the end so that’s why only one is going to be insane

Also had to do with Bitcoin transaction fees.

Steam used to accept Bitcoin payments for games, but had to stop due to a combination of Bitcoin transaction fees and volatility.

This is where stablecoin project, built on low transaction fee blockchains, will shine.

Haven/XHV is building a platform where you any user can mint dollar, euro, gold and silver equivalents to be spent.https://havenprotocol.org/So they bring stability, whilst giving users control.

Kim Dotcom is building a new platform for content creators to sell content, primarily using Bitcoin Cash due to it's low transaction fees and speed.https://k.im/

Gonna be a big couple of years for cryptocurrencies becoming currencies, IMO.

(If anyone doesn't know who Kim Dotcom is, and why that news is huge for cryptocurrencies, I strong advise doing a websearch.

Here is Kim debating Bitcoin enthusiasts about why he chose Bitcoin Cash over Bitcoin...

I advise skipping to 23:00 for the beginning of the debate...

Jesus this is a bitcoin cash deal bitcoin cash is terrible makes it so the average day person can’t minor or run or node and he gets ran by a corrupt system. It’s going to be worth nothing in the future. The next thing is bitcoin Lightning layer teo and then any other layers after that. What a sad person after losing all his money. And Lightning has pretty much no fees and it’s instant like literally instead

The fundamentals are sound but I worry quite a bit about global government stepping in and interfering.

The irony is soo thick. You can tell everyone hyped about it is heavily invested (emotionally and financially) and cannot/will not see the forest before the trees.

Im not a crypto hater by and means, I have no skin in the game, but damn are somemassive glaring flaws and realities overlooked by crypto bruhs.

When bitcoin, and others, are flat-lined or outright banned at the stroke of a pen I will not rub it in. I will just watch in awe. I really, really hope it doesn't happen but you'd be a fool not to see it coming.

The rage will shake mountains, some will end it all, and the FED will announce their own proprietary "authorized" digital coin a week later.
Maybe yes, maybe no. If the big $$$ can dominate BTC then it may not die. If they can't? Eh...

Also re: Tesla & Cryptocurrencies
To move to a digital only currency you have to have access to processing digital transactions.

Could be totally unrelated. But is is weird to me that they seem to have gotten the okay to do this- put up thousands of satellites.

- potentially hazardous
- potential monopoly

I don't know how many orbital parking spaces exist, but it has to be finite number.
