We are basically watching a war between the elites and the rest of us plebs. It's easy to see what side Elon is on.

This either kills the bull run, or non-mining cryptos are about to go on a pump after the dip.

Centralized gov coins mean absolutely nothing. People keep bringing them up without any core argument about why it effects Bitcoin anymore than the 100s of FIAT currencies do. If they could have stopped Bitcoin they would have a decade ago. Occam's Razor; they can't stop it. They could barely stop Napster which was started by a few broke teenagers. Even after they successfully shut it down there were others to take its place. The only thing they could do is to ban citizens from buying and selling Bitcoin. Luckily we have data from multiple countries to show that does absolutely nothing to stop people from using Bitcoin.
Thank you Hal Finney.

If the U.S. wants to remain in its position it will have to embrace the new tech. The next logical move is countries storing BTC in their reserves. IMO that will be the final wave of adoption to reach the full S-Curve and stability.

The environmentally friendly FUD is a real issue, but IMO unironically it can be good for crypto. BTC is literally dinosaur tech compared to other crypto projects. So I sincerely hope BTC is flipped this year.
I think this may have helped the bullrun, by cooling it down for a while.

Transaction fees for Bitcoin make it terrible. It's still better than a bank to bank transfer overseas though, in terms of moving lump sums. Terrible for microtransactions, which is why Bitcoin Cash is gaining ground in developing nations (e.g. The Philippines and Thailand). Unfortunately though this FUD also puts Bitcoin Cash in the crosshairs.
$14.35 transaction fees to give $10 to a family member overseas in the Philippines or Thailand is simply ridiculous.

Bitcoin wins on liquidity options though. No doubt about that.
