When an experimental vaccine was rolled out for swine flu in 1976 about 20% of the US population received the vaccination. It was reported that 50 people died and there was 1 extra case of Guillane Barre per 100K people.

The vaccine was halted.

A 2009 vaccine for swine flu also is linked to Guillane Barre.

Here's one study. the false positivity rate is estimated between 1-4%, although studies have seen anywhere from 0-17%. This means out of everybody who is tested approximately 1-4% of people will be a false positive. But if you take the FDR, which is the false discovery rate, if you take all of those who tested positive, around 15-40% of those are false positives, see how the numbers change here?

However according to the same study, false negatives are higher
Numbers way off from what I'm reading, average comorbitity slightly less than 3 and you have to go down to including 50 year olds to find 95% of all deaths. 75-84 year old age group has roughly 1/4 of deaths alone though.

Regardless, this disease is massively overhyped for the vast majority of the workforce and schools, which were most affected during lockdowns.
