Throughout 2020 the MSM was signalling that institutions are now buying BTC. What Wyckoff model is based on is institutions controlling when a bull market occurs, and when a bear market occurs. So they manipulate the market upwards, as well as downwards. Basically, 2021 was the year that institutions became the prime drivers of Bitcoin market, when previously it was retail. Basically, the Bitcoin market ceased being organic in 2021.
(Note: I hope I am wrong, and we are going to have a V shaped recovered, and I that I am shown to be paranoid.)
A couple of examples:
1/ This brah predicted the 30K May crash in April - he literally says 30K at the end of the video - and said that there's clear evidence of institutional market manipulation based on the Wycoff model. Richard Wyckoff was a stock market investor in the early 20th century, who realized that the stock market is manipulated by institutions. He created a model of their manipulation patterns.
This is the April video from the brah where he predicts the 30K crash...
2/ Elon Musk's infamous tweet in May was a catalyst for the crash to 30K. However, 'purely coincidental' was a massive amount of Bitcoin was moved on to exchanges to sell, a few hours BEFORE he made the tweet. Blatant manipulation, and Elon is obviously in on it.

Just bought another $1K of HBAR. I think I'm pretty much done buying at this point. I'll work to develop my exit strategies on my top bags which consist of XRP, HBAR, BCH, and DASH.

This is why I'm predicting that when the fud declines you won't see the price continue down (or even remain flat) like you would in a real bear market. We'll see if that holds true.
My only point is those who are selling will likely be sorry. At the same time I kind of hope many do go ahead and sell because it seems inevitable. So might as well get it over with. So conflicting
As for me I'd be okay with hodling for as long as necessary. I have seen enough
