Yeah that's what started it but today is the 4th or 5th days of searching with hundreds of officers, K9s, boats, helicopters looking for heat signatures etc. and still turning up with absolutely nothing. Feels like they HAVE to know more than they are leading the public to believe if they're spending all this time and resources on a uninhabitable preserve

Figured I would sauté this bit of info into the mix as a couple people asked about employment / employment history.

Brian's parents own a juice company in Florida (currently closed due to this fcuk up)

Gabby worked there before clouting In a converted half size transit van.

It would appear Brians only history of employment was through his parents.

as funny as it would be for some bald dweeb to be outsmarting the cops and fbi like they're a bunch of bumbling barney fifes, it seems like most cases like this end with the person going off and killing themselves. dogs probably scented him going into those woods, and they have some privy info from the parents like his gun is missing, so they're operating under the assumption he's dead and under a log somewhere since he probably would've been found by now if alive

Besides how easily manipulated & controlled by the media so many people are,the next most interesting thing about this story is how much people project the media they've consumed onto this narrative. It's very apparent many people who are commenting on this case watch a tremendous amount of crime shows "He hit her harder than he meant to and then strangled her to dispose of the evidence" and chit like this is just utterly hilarious.

I would be willing to bet my left nut there is extreme overlap of the demographic of the people who consume mainstream news headlines or get their news from social media, and the demographic that watches these crime shows and thinks this Gabby girl is the protagonist and the bald dude is the antagonist and this is some 48 hours crime drama chit.

Fascinating psychological study - you're all apart of my experiment now

The parents obviously covered for him. It's sort of insane not to, and if they wanted to help the great trustworthy authorities, they would have succeeded by now.

The police will likely "threaten" them with a whole barrage of charges to get them to give him up. Then everything gets dropped once they get him in custody. It's a total leverage/negotiation thing.......

They technically weren't breaking the law when they "helped him" escape on September 11th for what it's worth. He was not a fugitive (i.e. a person charged with a crime) at the time (still isn't by the way). However, they did break the law when they lied to the police about the last time they saw him and where he went.

Yea, anything they say prob entraps them. Idk how you canPROVEthey knew. Unless there are like texts or something

If the son corroborates they knew thats pretty damning, he could also aid them in saying they didnt. But.. then i think it would be concocting a story hoping they entrap themselves/ a jury thing - just hoping to increase the likelihood

That's where the evidence the police have on the parents comes into play though. They already have witnesses that will testify the parents left on 9/11 with the kid and a camper. Probably video of them enroot, etc. Proof they lied about him being at the house on Tuesday 9/14 and about him ever driving to the nature preserve.

Actually whether they KNEW or not really doesn't come into play right now. It is about them lying to the police about when they saw him last and where he went. That's the criminal act at hand (nothing to do with the murder).

Im not up to date on what was said. But im not sure how this is proof they knew he commited a crime

You may have increased the likelihood they lied but what if brian comes home, tells them another story (he hasnt yet been accused of a crime) and that is why they did what they did

It doesnt look good they say they didnt see him and they did (but i still dont think that proves they knowingly knew a crime was commited and they aided him)

There could be something more damning or.. they could come out and admit it, im just saying as it stands idk how you can definitively say - and lay out the necessary steps to prove it - they aided a criminal

Stop watching judge Judy.
The evidence of the neighbors saying they saw the parents leave with the kid and a camper 4 days BEFORE the parents claim to have last seen him. That happened, in case you missed it.

Lying to the police is a crime and can lead to obstruction charges.

Again, whether they knew he committed a murder or not is irrelevant.

You can't knowingly lie or mislead the police regardless---that's a crime.

I disagree.. but honestly im not up to date on all the deets

I guess the onus would be on the police or whoever prosecutes them proving his parents intentionally lied to them to aid their son

That would be something after the fact once their son is actually charged with something---that's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about the lie(s) of them saying they last saw him Tuesday 9/14 at the house (proven false by neighbor's seeing him leave on 9/11) and that he drove himself to the nature reserve (he was already gone before the Mustang left their property on 9/14 with obviously someone else at the wheel). Lying to the police is lying to the police. i.e. breaking the law

It doesn't matter what the lie is about.

Again, hard for me to talk about cause i prob shouldnt be talking about it without all the details

But PROVE the neighbors saw him 9/11. Unless theres evidence, they cant. All witness testimonial does, again, is increase the likelihood.

The mission is to force an admission of guilt

But obviously witness testimonial is not 100%. There was a thread a few days ago where some guy used a hollywood mask to rob a bank and it looked so much like another guy that that other guys mother turned him in. BUT she was wrong. It was eyewitness testimonial and its only 1 piece of the puzzle. She thought she knew but she didnt; she didnt have all the details

I can also think of quite a few reasons someone could misremember something

Anyways, like i said.. i dont think thats proof. A prosecution team might try to but again, all theyre doing is compiling evidence to improve the likelihood they get a conviction/ what they want

And again, i shouldnt even be commenting because idk all the details

It hasn't actually been confirmed to have been him in that photo

Just that it's quite the coincidence. Definitely looks like him, and that's what the arrest warrant is out for, which means they've got footage of him. The warrant says 30th august to 1st september, and that image was for 28th of august. might not be him, but it looks like it.
