DE-cember

DE-alcoholize.
DE-fap.
DE-pr0n.

I'm at the finish line of NO-vember where Irenounced alcohol, fapping and pr0ns.

There have been a couple of temptations along the way, and once on day 25 I clicked on a miscer's thread promoting HBBs when they were in fact, fat whales. "Imagine the smells," said my primitive brain. And later that night while biking home, I thought about how nice a vodka would sound to numb stress. Nevertheless, I staved off the evils and made it to today, Day 30.

Accomplishments during NO-vember:

- 30 days of no alcohol (a drop in the bucket, but a great start)
- 30 days of no fap & no pr0n (LIFETIME RECORD)
- Read several books and a couple of thousand words from the Bible
- Picked up Touch Typing
- Cold showers every day (except rest day); Gained Mental and Physical Strength (see below)

I never thought I could go a month without fapping and watching pr0n. Working out nearly every day, only taking a day off per week, also was helpful:

11/1 (Day 1):

0.5 mi in 5 mins
2x5 pushups

11/2:

0.94 mi in 10 mins
2x6 pushups

.
.
.

11/30:

Run to park - 1.65 mi in 15:21 (9:16 pace)
2x5 pull-ups, 2x8 clap pushups.
15 pushups
Return run - 1.82 mi in 17:36.

Oh, and...

You've put words in my mouth, fellow brah, and by fellow brah, I mean never my brah. Who said I would resume drinking and fapping and pr0ning? Also, the first of the month is the perfect time to begin new habits. Imagine starting on the second of the month, or even the third. Your mind would just tell you, "We already messed this month up. Let's just try again next month."

This is just a warm-up for the new year, fellas. Imagine never fapping or pr0ning again, or even drinking. I've gone through so many relapses the misc didn't believe me anymore when I said I quit for good. I didn't need their belief; I only believe in myself. But I love my supporters. Let's begin DE-cember, brahs! Post below if you'll be in.

Not a bad idea. I've done that before but didn't find a substantial change. Coming back was scary because I thought my life would be ruined, but it's not the misc that's the problem. There are some good people on here.

It doesn't sound like you have a problem, but you said you were drinking too much. Give them away or pour them down the drain, srs. Alcohol is bad for gains.

Thanks a lot. Some things that help at this point are mirin my own gains no matter how minuscule. Being grateful for my current position in life helps. I was touching my arms yesterday and noticed they were swoler. I went out for a 3+ mi run and did some pullups. Never have I ever done that.

I also noticed how fast my acceleration was yesterday. Going out for a set of tabata sprints today.

12/1

1.02 mi tabata in 9:16 (30s jog + 8 reps of 15s sprint/60s walk)
3 sets of 1 min planks

I'm starting to look and feel skinnier. Can't wait to see what another month of exercise does to me.
God is making me stronger through his trials.

2.2 mi walk
1 mi in 9:03.

I thought I was faster, but apparently not. I thought at my pace, I could hit at least 8:30, but apparently not. This is good, because I have more room to improve and push myself.
